Beautiful Light, a tactical first-person extraction shooter from Deep Worlds SA, is listed on Steam for a planned December 2026 Early Access release. The date is a plan, not confirmation that the game will launch then. Its central twist is that players can enter as operators or take control of an anomaly.
What kind of game is Beautiful Light?
Steam describes Beautiful Light as a PvPvPvE tactical first-person extraction shooter. Players enter a hostile environment as operators to search for a mysterious artifact or complete quests, then try to extract. They face rival operators as well as anomalies; losing a fight can mean losing their gear.
The PvPvPvE label reflects more than the usual contest between players and computer-controlled enemies. The store listing says players may also play as anomalies, making player-controlled threats part of the match’s premise.
When is Beautiful Light coming out?
Steam lists Beautiful Light as “Coming Soon To Early Access,” with December 2026 as the planned release month. Deep Worlds SA is identified as both developer and publisher. The listing does not guarantee that the game will arrive on that schedule, so check the Steam store page for the latest status.

Why is the game launching in Early Access?
The developers say the team is small and the project ambitious. They describe Early Access as a way to help fund development and use community feedback as they build the game. The Steam page explains: “Early Access is also a way for us to improve the game thanks to community feedback as we build the game we had envisioned.”
