The 75-inch Haier P7 Pro delivers vivid, detailed viewing and impactful bass, but reflections, blooming and a few software quirks keep it from being a no-compromise home-cinema TV. HT Tech rated the reviewed set 8.3/10 after a month of use. Its gaming features can smooth motion, but this is a 4K/60 Hz television—not a native 4K/120 Hz display.
What the Haier P7 Pro is—and what was reviewed
The model reviewed by HT Tech was the 75-inch 75P7 Pro, a 4K H-QLED television with Google TV. Haier lists its screen as 189 cm with a 3840 × 2160 resolution. The review received an “HT Verified Recommended” rating and an overall score of 8.3/10. (Haier product specifications; HT Tech review)
Reviewer Shubh Bhushan used a Haier-provided sample for a month, with the set due to be returned to the company. He watched anime on Crunchyroll and Lanterns on JioHotstar, and played PS5 games including Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Judgment. His findings are viewing impressions from one sample, not controlled measurements or a guarantee that every unit will behave identically.
How good is the picture?
The reviewer found the image colourful and detailed in his viewing, including anime and 4K HDR10 and Dolby Vision content. Movie picture mode was his preferred setting. Haier claims up to 93% DCI-P3 coverage, but that is a manufacturer figure, not an independently verified measurement. (Haier product specifications; Haier India launch announcement)

Reflections, blooming and the reviewed sample
Room lighting was a practical weakness in the review. With four 10 W ceiling lights in his viewing room, Bhushan sometimes changed position to avoid reflections while watching dark scenes. In a room with a window or lights opposite the glossy screen, reflections may similarly distract; the review does not establish how the TV performs in every lighting setup.
He also saw blooming around bright subjects in a dark game scene and light bleed on the tested panel. Haier had not disclosed the local-dimming zone count in the review, and the report does not establish the cause or how common the sample’s light bleed is. Treat these as caveats to consider—not evidence that every P7 Pro has the same panel issue.

Does the P7 Pro support 120 Hz gaming?
Not as a native 4K/120 Hz input. The review reports four HDMI inputs supporting 4K at 60 Hz. Haier advertises Gaming 120Hz (DLG), alongside MEMC, VRR and ALLM, but DLG is a processing mode that can make motion look more like 120 Hz on a 60 Hz television; it is not equivalent to a native 120 Hz panel and may trade away resolution or detail. (Haier India launch announcement; HT Tech review)
In his Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart session, Bhushan felt that movement looked smoother with DLG and did not notice obvious image degradation. That is a subjective impression from his game session, not a measured result for every title or console setting. He also cautioned that the gaming bar’s 120 fps counter should not be treated as an absolute performance measure. If native 4K/120 Hz input is a requirement, the P7 Pro is not the right match.

How does the built-in sound perform?
Haier specifies a 50 W, 2.1-channel system with a built-in subwoofer for the 75-inch model. The reviewer heard pronounced bass and an enveloping feel in action scenes, but loud effects could mask dialogue and quieter high-frequency details. He sometimes needed to raise the volume for speech during effects-heavy scenes. He preferred Dolby Atmos switched off because, to his ears, it added reverberation. (Haier product specifications; HT Tech review)
Google TV, ports and everyday use
The reviewer found Google TV generally usable for menus and apps, with brief stutters—particularly when switching inputs. He measured startup at approximately 42 seconds on the reviewed unit. Haier’s 75-inch specification page lists 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. (Haier product specifications; HT Tech review)

Haier lists four HDMI inputs, two USB ports, Ethernet, Bluetooth and a headphone output. The company also advertises HaiCast screen mirroring and Bluetooth Speaker Mode. Bhushan said phone casting worked for him but MacBook mirroring did not, so compatibility with a particular device should not be assumed. The review describes a minimalist front and accessible ports. He used the included stands and noticed wobble when gently pushing the set; installation engineers told him the stand design accounted for it. That observation is not a durability test. Quick Recap
Who should consider the Haier P7 Pro?
- Consider it if a large 4K screen, vivid viewing, strong bass and Google TV appeal to you, and your room does not put bright windows or lights directly opposite the screen.
- Look elsewhere if native 4K/120 Hz gaming is essential, if reflections in your room are difficult to control, or if you are especially sensitive to blooming or panel uniformity.
- Check your use if dialogue clarity is a priority: the reviewer found that effects could make speech less distinct, while his preference for Dolby Atmos off may not match every listener’s taste.
- Compare before choosing a size using viewing distance, current price, warranty terms, HDR support, connections and the specific refresh-rate requirements of your games.
