What screen resolutions are reported for the Pixel 12 phones?
9to5Google says OVR+ identified prospective Google device listings in a GSMA database. The report assigns these resolutions to the four rumored models:

These are leak claims repeated in secondary coverage, not specifications confirmed by Google. The Pixel 12 series is expected in 2027, according to Android Central’s October 5, 2026 coverage; no confirmed launch date or purchasable Pixel 12 listing was established.
Why is the base Pixel 12 resolution uncertain?
9to5Google reports 1080 × 2400 for the base Pixel 12. Another returned search result rendered the alleged resolution as 1080 × 2424—the same number that 9to5Google gives for the Pixel 11 comparison. No official Google source resolves the discrepancy, so 1080 × 2400 should be treated specifically as 9to5Google’s reported figure, not a settled specification.

How do the reported figures compare with Pixel 11?
9to5Google compares the alleged resolutions with reported Pixel 11 figures. Its report describes the three slab-style Pixel 12 models as having slightly lower pixel counts, while the alleged Fold inner display has higher pixel dimensions than the Pixel 11 Pro Fold inner display.

What can these resolution numbers tell you?
Resolution describes a pixel grid; by itself, it does not establish screen size, pixel density, panel type, brightness, refresh behavior, or real-world image quality. The reported counts do not prove that any Pixel 12 display will look sharper or better than its predecessor.
For the three slab-style phones, 9to5Google notes that the lower pixel counts could point to smaller panels or a display redesign, but the leak does not establish which explanation is correct. The Fold number applies only to the inner screen; no cover-screen resolution is established in the report. Final specifications and availability remain unconfirmed.
