A leak lists Black, Blue, Light Pink and White as the Galaxy S27 Ultra’s standard colors—but a later report points to a possible Samsung-exclusive Violet option. So purple may be missing from the base palette, not gone altogether. Samsung has not confirmed any S27 Ultra colors.
Which Galaxy S27 Ultra colors have been reported?
On October 5, 2026, 9to5Google reported that leaker Ice Universe had shared four base colors for the Galaxy S27 Ultra: Black, Blue, Light Pink and White. The report said this list did not include colors that might be exclusive to Samsung’s online store. 9to5Google’s report also noted that whether a purple version would exist was unclear at the time.
On October 6, Notebookcheck and Gadgets 360 reported a later claim from Ice Universe: a fifth color, likely Violet, could be exclusive to Samsung. That would make the reported base list and the possible exclusive option different parts of the palette—not competing accounts of the same four colors. Notebookcheck and Gadgets 360 both attribute the information to the same leaker.
| Reported category | Colors | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Base colors | Black, Blue, Light Pink, White | Leak attributed to Ice Universe; not confirmed by Samsung. |
| Possible Samsung-exclusive color | Violet | Reported in a later leak; availability and final shade are unconfirmed. |
Does the leak mean there will be no purple S27 Ultra?
No. The original four-color list does not include Purple, but it was described as a base-color list that leaves out possible Samsung online exclusives. The later report of a possible Violet exclusive means “purple is absent from the base list” is more accurate than “Samsung will not offer a purple phone.”

Violet is a reported possibility, not a confirmed product color. The coverage does not establish the final shade name, whether Samsung will sell it, or where it will be available. Notebookcheck cautions that only Samsung’s official renders can show the final colors. Its accompanying group render is AI-generated from leaked designs and options, so it should not be treated as evidence of an actual device or verified finish.
How reliable is the color list?
These are leak-based reports, not an official Samsung specification. Although multiple publications covered the claims, they attribute the color information to Ice Universe; their repetition should not be mistaken for independent confirmation. Samsung has not confirmed the S27 Ultra’s palette in the cited coverage.

SamMobile notes that the Galaxy S26 Ultra had four standard colors and two online-exclusive options, a recent pattern that could provide context for the S27 Ultra claim. It does not prove Samsung will use the same arrangement again. SamMobile’s report covers that comparison.

There is no confirmed announcement date in these reports. 9to5Google described an early-next-year launch as expected, not announced; that expectation does not establish when Samsung will reveal the colors. Until Samsung publishes official product details or renders, both the palette and the possible Violet exclusive remain unsettled.
