A possible restock of three Warhammer 40,000 Commander decks is being reported, but it is not a confirmed reprint. The claim comes through secondhand reports from game stores, with no distributor order forms, arrival date, or official Wizards of the Coast announcement cited.
What the reprint rumor says
The Daily Game News reported on October 6, 2026, that Magic YouTuber Joel Are Magic had heard from local game stores that three of the four Magic: The Gathering Warhammer 40,000 Commander decks could be ordered through multiple distributors. The report did not identify the three decks.
The sourcing is indirect: the creator relayed what store owners told him, and the report says he had not seen the distributor order forms himself. It also gave no expected arrival date. These details leave open whether the reported ordering information reflects a definite restock, a limited opportunity, or something that will not result in new stock.
Has Wizards confirmed a reprint?
No. The cited Daily Game News report said Wizards of the Coast had not officially announced a reprint. A Reddit discussion dated October 5, 2026, also attributes the rumor to Joel Are Magic, showing that the claim was circulating in the community—not independently verifying it: Reddit discussion.

An aggregator listing dated October 3, 2026, points to a BGR headline about the decks’ high prices, but does not provide the underlying list or its price methodology: EIN Presswire listing. The available reporting therefore supports describing this as a rumor, not saying the decks are returning.
Why these decks are being called expensive
The report says three of the four Warhammer 40,000 decks appeared on a recent list of the most expensive Commander decks, attributing their cost to limited availability and an apparently absent reprint run. The underlying list and a dated, verifiable price table are not available in the cited material. No reliable dollar amounts, precise rankings, or identification of the priciest deck can be established from it.

Do not assume a restock is certain or that waiting will mean a lower price. Compare a seller’s confirmed stock and current price with your willingness to wait for an unconfirmed possibility. Before deciding, check retailer availability and look for an official Wizards announcement or a specific distributor order window confirmed by a store.
