What the Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical is
Razer describes it as a “Right-handed Vertical Ergonomic Wireless Mouse.” Rather than resting the palm flat over a conventional mouse, its vertical shape puts the hand in a more upright position. Razer lists six buttons and battery life of up to six months. PC Gamer reports a 150 g weight, up to 1,000 Hz polling, a maximum 30,000 DPI sensitivity, and 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth connectivity. Is it good for gaming?
It has specifications associated with gaming mice, but that does not make its shape and weight ideal for every game. PC Gamer’s July 2025 review found it less suitable for fast movement, and its 150 g weight is a substantial trade-off for players who make frequent, rapid mouse movements. The vertical grip may be appealing for general computer use or games that do not demand constant twitch aiming, but players prioritizing quick, precise repositioning should consider a conventional, lighter gaming mouse instead. There is also a learning curve: the hand position and controls feel different from a traditional mouse. WIRED’s 2025 review rated it 7/10, listing comfort and build quality among the positives, and the steep learning curve, awkward thumb-button placement, weight, and repair difficulty among the drawbacks. Can a vertical mouse help wrist pain?
The upright grip is designed to change how the hand rests on the mouse, but the sources available here do not establish that this model prevents or treats wrist pain. Comfort is personal, and a new mouse is not a medical treatment. If using it causes pain or makes symptoms worse, stop and consider advice from a qualified health professional.

Is $89.99 its lowest price?
