Lost Fantasy #13 and Fireborn #5 make up a two-issue crossover built around a fight between Henry and Aaron, told from both series’ perspectives. Both issues are scheduled to go on sale October 28, 2026, and Lost Fantasy #13 also begins the comic’s fourth story arc.
What happens in the Lost Fantasy and Fireborn crossover?
The preview centers on a confrontation between Henry of Lost Fantasy and Aaron of Fireborn. Rather than containing the crossover in one comic, the story unfolds across Lost Fantasy #13 and Fireborn #5, with each issue offering a perspective on the clash. The preview describes the approach as “like Rashomon but with Dragons and Giant Swords,” a phrase attributed to Image without naming a specific speaker.
The matchup lands as Lost Fantasy opens a larger conflict. Curt Pires told The Beat, as quoted in the preview, that the arc brings Edge and the villains to an island where the wall between worlds is thinnest. They aim to break it down and invade Earth; Henry and his team try to stop them.

What to know about Lost Fantasy’s new arc
Lost Fantasy is a video-game-inspired alternate history in which myth, monsters, and magic exist just beneath the surface of the modern world. More than a century before the current story, a natural disaster created a schism that let monsters from another world break through.

The fourth arc gathers earlier plot threads around Edge’s attempt to open the boundary between worlds. The island setting—where that boundary is thinnest—puts the crossover fight within a larger effort to reach Earth, rather than making it a standalone matchup.
