Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus vs Samsung Galaxy S25 FE: which should I buy?
Choose the Galaxy S25 FE if the lower listed price matters more to you than screen resolution: Samsung’s US listing puts its 256GB model $250 below the 256GB S25+. Choose the S25+ if you want its higher-resolution QHD+ display. Both phones share a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 4,900mAh battery and 45W wired charging, according to Samsung’s comparison guide.
The published specifications also list a 10MP telephoto camera for the S25+ and an 8MP telephoto camera for the FE. That resolution difference alone does not establish which phone takes better photographs. Samsung’s listed figures do not provide a matched independent performance test or comparative real-world battery and camera results.

The useful like-for-like comparison is the two 256GB listings: the FE is $250 less than the S25+. These are Samsung US direct-listing amounts, before any applicable tax, shipping, discounts, trade-in credits or carrier offers. They do not establish prices in other countries or the amount a buyer will ultimately pay. Check the exact storage configuration and current offer at Samsung US before purchase.
Is the S25 FE screen as good as the S25 Plus?
Both phones have a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and support adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz, as listed in Samsung’s comparison guide. The difference established by the specifications is resolution: FHD+ on the FE and QHD+ on the S25+. The S25+ specification sheet also lists 2600 nits peak brightness; its stated information is current as of January 22, 2025, and Samsung says to check for updates in its business specification sheet.

In practical terms, the S25+ offers more pixels, while the FE shares the same listed screen size and display family. The cited specifications do not establish a broader real-world display-quality ranking across viewing conditions.
How do the cameras compare?
Samsung lists the same resolutions for the main, ultrawide and selfie cameras on both models. The telephoto resolution is the listed difference:

Configuration details vary between Samsung’s cited pages and sales channels. Its comparison guide lists FE storage options of 128GB and 256GB. For the S25+, that guide lists 128GB and 256GB, while Samsung’s US business specification sheet lists 256GB and 512GB. Confirm the exact market and SKU rather than assuming every listed configuration is available from every seller.

What comes in the S25 FE box?
Samsung’s US S25 FE purchase page says the box includes the phone, a data cable and an ejection pin; it does not include a charger. Check the product page for the exact model and market you are buying, since box contents and sales configurations may vary.
