Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 leads the available listed benchmark comparison against the standard Dimensity 8350, but those results are not a controlled comparison with the Dimensity 8350 Apex. For Apex-specific context, 91mobiles lists scores from devices it tracks; compare those separately rather than treating them as a direct head-to-head result. For a buying decision, the complete phone matters as much as its processor.
What the benchmark results show—and what they do not
NanoReview’s listed comparison of Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and the standard Dimensity 8350 gives Qualcomm’s chip higher total AnTuTu 10 and Geekbench 6 scores. These are database figures, not guaranteed results for every phone using either processor.
| Benchmark | Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 | Dimensity 8350 (standard) |
|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu 10 total | 1,481,667 | 1,353,134 |
| Geekbench 6 single-core | 2,019 | 1,285 |
| Geekbench 6 multi-core | 5,570 | 4,325 |
In that same listing, Snapdragon leads the standard 8350 in AnTuTu CPU and GPU subscores and in both Geekbench results; the 8350 has a slightly higher UX subscore. See NanoReview’s standard-chip comparison for its listed figures.
Dimensity 8350 Apex results are a separate data point
91mobiles lists the Dimensity 8350 Apex at 1,402,278 in AnTuTu, 1,314 in Geekbench 6 single-core, and 4,092 in Geekbench 6 multi-core. It describes the AnTuTu figure as the highest recorded among the devices it tracks. These are Apex-device listings, not a matched test against a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 handset. The scores and their device context are available on 91mobiles’ Dimensity 8350 Apex page.

Phone cooling, memory configuration, firmware, temperature, benchmark version, and vendor performance settings can affect results. Without a controlled test pairing an Apex phone with an 8s Gen 3 phone under the same conditions, the available figures do not establish an exact Apex-versus-Snapdragon performance margin.

| CPU | Qualcomm lists clock speeds up to 3 GHz. | MediaTek’s standard 8350 page lists the platform; OnePlus describes the Apex processor in the Nord CE5 as an octa-core chip up to 3.35 GHz. Clock speeds alone do not compare performance across different CPU designs and phone configurations. |
| Graphics | Adreno GPU; Qualcomm lists Vulkan 1.3 and other graphics APIs. | Mali-G615 MC6. |
| Connectivity | X70 modem, peak download speed up to 6.5 Gbps, and Wi-Fi 7 support. | Peak download speed up to 5.17 Gbps and Wi-Fi 6E, according to MediaTek’s published 8350 specifications. |
| Memory and storage | Check the specification of the individual phone for its supported configuration. | Quad-channel LPDDR5X up to 8533 Mbps and UFS 4.0 with MCQ. |
| Camera and display capabilities | Check the specific platform and handset specifications for feature limits. | MediaTek lists support for a camera sensor up to 320MP, 4K video capture at up to 60 fps, and displays up to FHD+ 180Hz or WQHD+ 120Hz. |
See Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 specification and MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 specification. Connectivity and peak download figures depend on handset implementation, supported bands, carrier, and region. A platform’s maximum camera sensor resolution is not evidence that a phone takes better photos; the installed cameras and image processing matter.

- For benchmark-led comparisons: compare results from the same benchmark version and, where possible, tests performed under similar conditions. Keep standard Dimensity 8350 figures distinct from Apex listings.
- For gaming: look for testing of the exact phone, including sustained frame rates and thermal behavior; a GPU name or short benchmark score cannot establish long-session performance.
- For connectivity: compare the phone’s supported 5G bands and Wi-Fi features with your carrier and network needs. A platform maximum does not ensure the handset supports every band or reaches that speed.
- For overall value: compare the actual price and configuration, cooling, memory and storage, display, camera system, battery, and software support of the phones available to you. Processor specifications alone do not establish battery life.
