At the India listing snapshots available in 2026, their prices are close—but the listings are not synchronized, so check the exact configuration and current price before buying.

Which phone has the better display?

The POCO M8 5G has the more compelling display specification if contrast and the panel type matter most: it uses a 6.77-inch Flow AMOLED screen. POCO rates its peak brightness at up to 3,200 nits. The moto g57 power 5G has a slightly smaller 6.72-inch LCD; 91mobiles lists its peak brightness as 1,050 nits. Both are listed at 120Hz, so both offer a high-refresh-rate panel, but the stated brightness figures come from different sources and are not a controlled side-by-side measurement. [POCO specifications] [91mobiles comparison]

How do performance and memory compare?

The POCO is listed with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, while the Moto uses the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4. 91mobiles lists both as 4nm chipsets with Adreno 710 graphics. Its comparison page reports AnTuTu scores of 862,268 for the POCO and 817,331 for the Moto. Those are that site’s benchmark results, not a guarantee of everyday speed or a universal result across software versions and testing conditions. The chipset names are also listed by Gadgets 360. For the configurations compared by 91mobiles, the POCO is shown with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, while the Moto has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. 91mobiles also lists an 8GB RAM option for the POCO. Gadgets 360 lists POCO storage options of 128GB and 256GB and shows the Moto with 256GB in its table. Check the exact SKU offered by the seller rather than assuming every market has the same memory combination. [91mobiles comparison] [Gadgets 360 comparison]

Which has the bigger battery and faster charging?

The Moto has the larger rated battery: comparison listings give it 7,000mAh, versus POCO’s manufacturer-listed 5,520mAh typical capacity. That is a capacity comparison, not a prediction of how long either phone will last; runtime depends on factors such as display settings, network conditions and workload, and no comparable endurance test is available here. POCO lists 45W charging for the M8 5G, while comparison sources list 30W charging for the Moto. On rated charging speed, the POCO has the advantage; actual charging time can depend on the charger, conditions and battery state. [POCO specifications] [Gadgets 360 comparison]

Which phone offers more useful cameras?

Both phones are listed with 50MP main rear cameras. The POCO is also listed with a 2MP depth camera, while the Moto’s secondary camera is an 8MP ultra-wide. That gives the Moto a listed lens for fitting more of a scene into a frame; it does not, by itself, establish that its photos are better. POCO’s manufacturer page confirms a 50MP main camera and 4K video recording. [91mobiles comparison] [Gadgets 360 comparison] [POCO specifications]

The listed front-camera resolutions favor the POCO: 20MP against 8MP for the Moto. Megapixels alone do not establish selfie quality, which also depends on processing, optics and lighting. Choose based on the camera roles you will use rather than lens count or resolution alone.

Which is lighter and thinner?

Gadgets 360 lists the POCO at 178g and the Moto at 210g. POCO’s own specification page also lists the M8 5G at 178g and 7.35mm thick. The numbers favor the POCO for a lighter, thinner listed body; they do not establish which phone will feel more comfortable in every hand. [Gadgets 360 comparison] [POCO specifications]

What is the price difference in India?

In the 2026 access snapshot, 91mobiles showed the POCO M8 5G at ₹22,820 and the moto g57 power 5G at ₹20,999 on its Amazon comparison listing—a ₹1,821 difference in that snapshot, with the POCO higher. These are not synchronized or guaranteed current retailer prices. Separately, Motorola India’s family page listed the Moto in 8GB/128GB at ₹21,999 in its 2026 snapshot. Because the sources and configurations differ, the figures should not be treated as a lasting price gap. [91mobiles comparison] [Motorola India family page]

Which one should you buy?

  • Choose the POCO M8 5G if you place greater value on an AMOLED panel, POCO’s higher manufacturer-rated peak brightness, faster rated charging, a lighter listed body or the higher-resolution front camera.
  • Choose the moto g57 power 5G if the larger rated battery capacity and a listed ultra-wide rear camera matter more to you than AMOLED or a lighter body.

These trade-offs do not establish a universal winner: the better purchase depends on which features you will use and the live price of the exact configuration available to you.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
