What does Just Host cost in 2026?
Just Host’s homepage displays $3.95 per month as an introductory rate and $9.49 per month as the regular rate. Its pricing note says the promotional price applies only to the first service term and plans renew at the regular rate. The page does not map those headline figures to specific plans or billing lengths, so the order form—not the homepage card—is the place to verify your actual offer. Just Host’s homepage
Do not assume that a per-month display means you will be billed monthly. The agreement says fees depend on the plan and add-ons selected and are charged in advance for the full term. Before submitting an order, confirm the following in checkout:
- The plan name and number of sites or other applicable limits.
- The initial term length and full amount charged today.
- The regular renewal amount, renewal term, and payment date.
- Any domains, privacy services, or other add-ons, plus applicable taxes or fees.
The agreement also allows Just Host to increase fees on or after the initial term with at least 30 days’ prior written notice. The displayed homepage rates do not establish the exact renewal charge for every plan and term. Just Host User Agreement

How automatic renewal and cancellation work
Under the User Agreement, hosting renews automatically for a period matching the initial term unless you disable auto-renewal or cancel. The payment timing and notice depend on the term:

To avoid the next hosting renewal charge, the agreement requires you to opt out at least 16 calendar days before the current term ends. It says basic hosting auto-renewal can be disabled in the account tab in cPanel. Domain registration, privacy, and other add-ons may use separate renewal controls, so check each applicable setting rather than assuming one change stops every renewal. Just Host User Agreement
Before an account expires or is cancelled, keep a separate copy of your site files and other content. The agreement says user content is permanently removed from the server when the account expires.

What “unmetered” means—and where it stops
Just Host describes some disk-space and data-transfer allowances as “unmetered,” but its policy says those resources are not infinite and must be used for normal website operation. It says it may constrain accounts using resources beyond normal personal or small-business website needs. That makes “unmetered” a poor fit as a promise of unlimited storage for arbitrary uses. Do not assume a shared plan is suitable for large media archives, file sharing, or other workloads that could exceed the provider’s normal-use expectations. The company claims 99.95% of customers have enough unmetered disk space and bandwidth or fall within its stated normal-use range; this is Just Host’s own usage-policy claim, not an independent measurement. Refunds and the free-domain catch
Just Host advertises a 30-day money-back period for hosting fees. Its terms limit that guarantee to hosting service, generally exclude add-ons and domains, and say hosting cancellations after 30 days are not refunded. Just Host may suit someone who wants shared hosting with cPanel, email, FTP, WordPress setup, and a site builder, and who is comfortable checking the actual checkout and renewal terms before committing. It is less compelling for a buyer who needs a known, plan-by-plan long-term price before reaching checkout, or whose workload depends on extensive storage or file distribution.
To compare it fairly with another host, line up the full initial-term cost against the renewal total, term and prepayment, number of sites and practical resource limits, included domain and tools, and the refund scope and cancellation consequences. Do not compare introductory monthly figures alone.
