If your television must measure exactly 60 inches diagonally, the Samsung DU7200 is the only genuine 60-inch option identified in a June 2026 buying guide—but that is a snapshot, not a guarantee it is the only model available everywhere. If you can adjust the size, 55-inch and 65-inch TVs give you more choices. Check current price, stock, and the exact model size before buying.
Do they still make 60-inch TVs?
True 60-inch sets have become scarce as manufacturers concentrate on 55-inch and 65-inch sizes. In its guide updated June 2026, The Product Analyst identified the Samsung DU7200 as the remaining exact-size candidate it found. That does not establish that it is the only 60-inch TV sold across all retailers today; availability can vary by seller and location. Check the guide and verify current listings.

Samsung DU7200: for a strict 60-inch requirement
The DU7200 is an entry-level LED television, and its main advantage here is its 60-inch diagonal. Before choosing it, confirm the listing is for the exact size you need, check the set’s condition, and make sure it is in stock. A model name alone is not enough: retailers may list different screen sizes within a product family.

Moving to 55 or 65 inches can open up more options. Tom’s Guide’s under-$1,000 roundup focuses on 65-inch televisions and names the Hisense U75QG as its overall pick at the time of access, with the Hisense QD7 as a lower-cost option. The cited passage does not establish that either model is available in 60 inches, so verify the precise size on the retailer’s listing. See Tom’s Guide’s roundup.

TCL QM6K: a prior-year 65-inch value option
Tom’s Guide discusses the 65-inch TCL QM6K as a previous-year value pick under $1,000, but says it has been replaced by the newer QM6L. Stock for the older model varies, and its availability at that price is not assured. Treat it as a candidate to check, not a guaranteed current deal.
How to choose for your room and use
- Confirm physical fit. Screen diagonal does not tell you the television’s full width, height, or stand footprint. Measure the available space and compare it with the exact model’s dimensions before ordering.
- For a bright room, prioritize brightness and local dimming, which can help the picture remain visible and improve control of bright and dark areas.
- For dark-room movies, pay attention to contrast, which affects how deep dark scenes appear.
- For gaming, check the model’s refresh rate and whether it has HDMI 2.1 connections. Do not assume a TV’s size or product-family name establishes either feature.
- For everyday use, check whether the smart-TV interface supports the services you use and whether the built-in audio meets your needs. If it does not, account for an external streaming device or soundbar in your setup.
Check price and availability before deciding
Prices, sale status, and inventory can change quickly, and the cited buying guides do not establish live prices for every candidate. Compare current listings immediately before purchase; confirm screen size, model suffix, condition, seller, and return terms. A historical Consumer Reports article reported average prices of $342 to $1,034 for 55-to-60-inch TVs in 2022, associating the low end with Toshiba and the high end with Sony. Those figures are historical context, not a 2026 price guide. Read Consumer Reports’ 2022 discussion.
