OBS में bitrate YouTube की live-ingest recommendations के अनुसार चुनें—uploaded video की encoding table से नहीं। H.264 में 1080p30 के लिए YouTube 5 Mbps minimum और 14 Mbps recommended बताता है; 720p30 के लिए 3 Mbps minimum और 8 Mbps recommended। अपनी upload connection की स्थिर क्षमता से मेल खाता विकल्प लें और stream शुरू करने से पहले उसी तरह के audio और motion के साथ परीक्षण करें। बच्चों के लिए बनाई गई कहानी को YouTube पर सही ढंग से “Made for Kids” चिह्नित करना भी जरूरी है, लेकिन उस setting से bitrate नहीं बदलता।
OBS के लिए resolution और bitrate चुनें
पहले तय करें कि आपका output 720p या 1080p होगा और frame rate 30 या 60 fps। फिर उसी resolution, frame rate और codec वाली YouTube live-ingest table की row देखें। नीचे H.264 के लिए YouTube Help में दिए गए मान हैं; ये technical recommendations हैं, स्वतंत्र performance test के नतीजे नहीं। पेज पर प्रकाशन तिथि नहीं दी गई थी; ये मान 3 अक्टूबर 2026 को उपलब्ध guidance के अनुसार हैं।

ये आंकड़े केवल H.264 के लिए हैं। YouTube की table में HEVC/H.265 और AV1 के लिए अलग bitrate values हैं, इसलिए codec बदलने पर H.264 की संख्या सीधे लागू न करें। यदि आप 1080p30 का recommended bitrate लगातार बनाए नहीं रख सकते, तो 720p30 चुनें या कम bitrate पर परीक्षण करें; अधिक resolution तभी रखें जब आपका वास्तविक upload और stream-health test इसे स्थिर रूप से संभाले।

- Keyframe interval: 2 seconds; YouTube की guidance के अनुसार यह 4 seconds से अधिक न हो।

- अन्य advanced video parameters: 2 B-frames, 1 reference frame और CABAC, यदि चुना encoder इन्हें expose करता हो।
- Audio: stereo, 44.1 kHz sample rate और 128 kbps।
- Ingest protocol: RTMP या RTMPS; YouTube live ingest के लिए H.264, H.265/HEVC और AV1 भी सूचीबद्ध करता है।
इन parameters को अपने encoder में उपलब्ध controls के अनुसार सेट करें; हर hardware encoder में हर option का नाम या नियंत्रण एक जैसा नहीं होता। Bitrate के लिए YouTube की live-stream table इस्तेमाल करें—अपलोड की गई video files वाली table नहीं। उदाहरण के लिए YouTube की upload encoding recommendations में H.264 SDR 1080p uploads के लिए standard frame rate पर 8 Mbps और high frame rate पर 12 Mbps के मान हैं। वे OBS live ingest bitrate नहीं हैं।
अपलोड क्षमता जाँचें और stream का परीक्षण करें
अपने इंटरनेट connection की upload speed मापें और bitrate को उस क्षमता पर सेट न करें जिसे connection स्थिर रूप से बनाए नहीं रख सकता। YouTube भी upload speed जाँचने, stream quality को connection के अनुरूप रखने और प्रसारण से पहले परीक्षण करने की सलाह देता है। Speed-test का एक नतीजा हर समय की स्थिरता सिद्ध नहीं करता।

- चुने हुए output resolution, frame rate और codec के लिए YouTube live-ingest bitrate चुनें।

- Go live करने से पहले test stream चलाएँ। उसमें कहानी जैसी audio और समान प्रकार की visual movement रखें; केवल static screen से असली playback का अंदाजा नहीं मिलता।
- YouTube Live Control Room में stream health और दिखाई देने वाले messages देखें। यदि connection अस्थिर हो या bitrate संभाल न पाए, तो bitrate घटाएँ या कम resolution/frame rate चुनकर दोबारा परीक्षण करें।

24/7 योजना बनाते समय YouTube की सीमाएँ समझें
YouTube के अनुसार, live streaming शुरू करने के लिए channel verified होना चाहिए और पिछले 90 दिनों में उस पर live-streaming restrictions नहीं होनी चाहिए। YouTube अधिकतम 10 concurrent active streams प्रति channel और 3 प्रति stream key की सीमा भी बताता है। ये concurrency limits हैं—इनसे यह साबित नहीं होता कि कोई एक stream लगातार 24 घंटे से अधिक चलेगी, बिना रुकावट रहेगी या उसका archive हमेशा उपलब्ध होगा। यहाँ उद्धृत YouTube guidance single-stream maximum duration या 24/7 uptime की गारंटी स्थापित नहीं करती।
समस्या आए तो क्या जाँचें
- Stream unstable है या health messages दिखाई देते हैं: upload capacity और bitrate फिर जाँचें। YouTube table से कम resolution या frame rate चुनकर समान audio और motion के साथ दोबारा test करें।
- दिए गए bitrate पर connection टिक नहीं रहा: H.264 के लिए 1080p30 से 720p30 जाने पर recommended bitrate 14 Mbps से 8 Mbps होता है। Connection के अनुसार कम मांग वाला output चुनें; केवल minimum पर सेट करना स्थिरता की गारंटी नहीं है।
- Bitrate सही दिखता है, पर image quality या playback भरोसेमंद नहीं: पहले सुनिश्चित करें कि चुनी गई table row आपके codec और frame rate से मेल खाती है। फिर YouTube Live Control Room के stream-health messages देखें और test दोहराएँ।
- दर्शक chat या कुछ अन्य सुविधाएँ नहीं देख पा रहे: Made for Kids designation पर विचार करें; इस designation के साथ YouTube कुछ सुविधाएँ बंद करता है। Audience setting को सुविधाएँ वापस पाने के लिए गलत न बदलें।
- प्रसारण शुरू नहीं हो पा रहा: channel verification और पिछले 90 दिनों के live-streaming restrictions की स्थिति जाँचें।
