How to choose a data science or deep learning blog
Start with what you want to learn or follow. The sources differ in purpose and perspective, and the directory does not score them for quality, beginner suitability, or publishing frequency.

- Research updates or tutorials: Institutional research feeds are useful for announcements about an organization’s work. Tutorial-focused sources are better suited to worked explanations and learning material.
- Specialist depth or broad coverage: Some writers focus on technical topics, while broader publications cover a range of data science subjects.
- Individual or institutional perspective: Individual writers offer a personal technical perspective; company and research-lab pages describe work from the publishing organization.
- New posts or archive value: A useful older article does not mean a site is still publishing. Check the latest post date, and consider archive material on its own merits.
A manageable starting mix is one institutional research feed, one independent technical writer, and one broad tutorial publication. Add more only when they serve a distinct purpose.

Use institutional posts with the right context
Google’s official research page links to Google Research and Google DeepMind. OpenAI’s research page provides an official research index and dated releases. These are useful places to see what the organizations report about their own work. For broader conclusions, look for the underlying paper or independent evidence rather than relying on an organization’s announcement alone.

The directory does not verify how often these sources publish, whether every link remains available, or whether access varies by location. Visit a site, check its newest post, and sample an article to see whether its depth and style fit your needs. Some entries may be more useful as archives than as regularly updated feeds.
