方法一：在 Windows 安裝 Google Play 遊戲電腦版
「Google Play 遊戲電腦版」是 Google 官方的 Windows 遊戲平台，但它不是完整的 Google Play 商店。它只提供目錄中支援的遊戲，不能用來安裝一般通訊、工具、影音或生產力 Android 應用程式。

需要開啟硬體虛擬化時怎麼辦？

錯誤碼的處理方式依 Google Play Games 官方疑難排解說明整理。若重新下載仍無法安裝，可依序執行以下操作：
- 到 Windows 的「設定 → 應用程式 → 應用程式與功能」，卸載 Google Play 遊戲電腦版。
- 重新啟動電腦。
- 從官方網站再次下載安裝程式。
- 若仍然失敗，執行安裝程式後按「傳送意見回饋」，勾選「傳送系統資訊」，並在訊息內加入 #gpginstall。
不是每款 Google Play 遊戲都支援 Windows
遊戲詳細資料頁會顯示相容性標籤：
- 已最佳化：開發者已針對 Windows 進行最佳化。
- 可遊玩：Google 測試後認為可在 Windows 執行，並能穩定運作、達到至少 30 fps，且支援滑鼠或鍵盤。
- 未測試：Google 尚未在 PC 上測試，實際結果不一定。

方法二：在 Chromebook 啟用 Google Play 商店
支援 Android 應用程式的 Chromebook 內建 Google Play 商店，不需要另外下載 Play 商店安裝檔。但並非每一款 Chromebook 都支援這項功能。
啟用步驟
- 在 Chromebook 右下角選取時間。
- 開啟「設定」。
- 選取「應用程式」。
- 選取「管理 Google Play 偏好設定」。
- 在開啟的視窗中選取「更多」。
- 按照畫面指示接受《服務條款》。

找不到「管理 Google Play 偏好設定」
如果在「設定 → 應用程式」中沒有這個選項，通常表示 Chromebook 不支援 Android 應用程式，或目前設定不允許使用 Google Play。學校或公司管理的 Chromebook 也可能由管理員禁止 Play 商店；重新下載 APK 不能繞過這項管理限制。

Chromebook 的相容性限制
- 手機或平板已安裝的 Android App，不會自動重新安裝到 Chromebook，必須重新下載。
- 部分應用程式只支援特定 Chromebook 型號。
- 如果顯示「您的裝置與這個版本不相容」，代表裝置缺少應用程式要求的功能或版本。
- 在 play.google.com 上，若 Chromebook 裝置名稱呈灰色，代表該 App 不能安裝到這台 Chromebook。
- 只有第一個登入並啟用 Google Play 的帳戶可使用該 Play 商店及其下載的 Android 應用程式。

幾個容易混淆的說法
「下載 Play Store APK 就能在 Windows 安裝」
不行。Play 商店不是普通的 Windows .exe 程式，而 APK 也不是 Windows 原生可執行格式。Windows 上由 Google 官方提供的是 Google Play 遊戲電腦版，不是完整 Play 商店。
「在 Google Play 網站按安裝，就會把 APK 下載到電腦」
通常不會。網頁版的「安裝」是選取已登入帳戶的 Android 裝置並遠端傳送安裝要求，並不會提供可在 Windows 或 Mac 上直接執行的 APK 或安裝檔。
「Google Play Games 可以安裝所有 Android App」
不正確。Google Play Games 電腦版是遊戲平台，只支援其目錄中相容的遊戲；它不會替 Windows 加入完整 Android 應用程式支援。
「所有 Android 模擬器都是 Google 官方 Play 商店」
