To sign in to Zoom, go to zoom.us/signin in a browser, or open the Zoom Workplace app on your computer or phone. Choose the same sign-in method connected to your account: Zoom email and password, a linked identity provider, or your organization’s single sign-on (SSO). If you only need to attend someone else’s meeting, you may be able to join without signing in.
Choose the right way to access Zoom

Account features and the available buttons can vary by account type, role, administrator settings, client, and version. If the labels in your app differ, follow the options shown on your sign-in screen.
Sign in to Zoom on the web
- Open zoom.us/signin. If your employer or school gave you a custom Zoom web address, use that address instead. Contact your account administrator if you do not know it.
- Choose the sign-in option tied to your account. Depending on the account and its configuration, the portal may offer an email and password or a linked Google, Apple, Facebook, or Microsoft account.
- Complete any requested authentication steps to reach your account.
The web portal lets you manage account settings and Zoom services in a browser; Zoom says it does not require a plugin or additional software.

Log in on a computer with Zoom Workplace
- Open Zoom Workplace and select Sign In.
- Select the method connected to your Zoom account. The options displayed in the desktop app may differ from those on the web.
- If your company or school requires SSO, select Sign In with SSO, enter your company domain, and continue through your organization’s identity provider.
For an organization-managed account, the credentials you use may be your work or school identity-provider credentials rather than a separate Zoom password. If you are unsure whether SSO is required or which domain to enter, ask your administrator.

Sign in to Zoom on a phone or tablet
- Open the Zoom mobile app and choose the sign-in method linked to your account.
- For SSO, tap SSO and enter your company domain. If you do not know the domain, use the app’s I don’t know the company domain option with your email address, if shown.
- Continue through your organization’s identity provider to finish signing in.
Some eligible accounts and devices can use passkeys. A US phone number is another possible sign-in route only if it has already been added to the Zoom account.
Join a meeting without a Zoom login
If you are joining someone else’s meeting, an account login may not be necessary. In the Zoom Web App, choose Join a meeting and provide the meeting ID and passcode if requested. The meeting host’s settings can affect whether a guest can join. Signing in is useful when you need to host or schedule your own meetings or use account features.

Use passkey or phone-number sign-in if available
Passkeys
A passkey is a passwordless sign-in method based on a cryptographic key pair and device authentication, such as biometrics or a secure PIN. Zoom’s passkey option is eligibility-dependent: availability can depend on your plan, role, verified account details, device capability, and compatible browser or app. Zoom says a separate two-factor authentication step is not required when signing in with a passkey. US phone number
If you previously added a US phone number to your Zoom account for sign-in, you can enter it and authenticate with your account password or request an SMS code. This method is not available simply by entering any phone number. Zoom explains the requirements in its phone-number sign-in instructions.

Forgotten or rejected password
Use Zoom’s password reset process with the email address associated with the account. If you normally sign in through Google, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, or an organization’s SSO, use that linked method rather than assuming you have a separate Zoom password.

Password reset or verification email did not arrive
- Wait a few minutes, then check spam or junk folders.
- Confirm that your organization or email provider permits Zoom’s no-reply messages.
- Make sure you entered the email address associated with the Zoom account.
You no longer have access to the account email
Zoom’s troubleshooting guidance says changing the sign-in email can restore access in applicable cases. Review Zoom’s login troubleshooting steps to find the route for your situation.
Your work or school account will not accept your credentials
Check whether your organization requires SSO. In the app, choose the SSO option, enter the correct company domain, and sign in through the organization’s identity provider. A personal Zoom password may not work for an account administered by your employer or school.

The app or browser still will not sign in
- Check that your internet connection is working.
- Update Zoom Workplace to the latest version available for your device.
- Clear the app cache or browser cookies where applicable, then restart the app, browser, or device.
- If the issue continues, reinstall the app and try again.
For account-specific restrictions or an SSO error, your organization’s Zoom administrator may need to help.
