Zenity announced a $38 million Series B on October 29, 2024, co-led by Third Point Ventures and DTCP. The company said the round brought its total capital raised to more than $55 million and would fund team expansion and a partner program to support enterprise adoption of AI agents, copilots, and low-code applications. It was a historical funding milestone, not Zenity’s latest financing: the company announced a $125 million Series C in August 2026.
Who invested in Zenity’s $38 million round?
Third Point Ventures and DTCP co-led the Series B, according to Zenity’s October 29, 2024 announcement. Zenity said the round took its total capital raised to more than $55 million. The announcement describes the amount raised and planned use of proceeds; it does not establish how the money was ultimately spent.
What did Zenity plan to do with the funding?
Zenity said it would use the proceeds to expand its product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams and launch a partner program. The stated goal was to support enterprise adoption of agentic workflows, enterprise copilots, and low-code applications. These are plans stated at the time of the announcement, rather than a report of completed spending.

Zenity says it launched in 2021 with security and governance for low-code/no-code development, then expanded to enterprise AI copilots, including Microsoft 365 Copilot. Its current materials describe an AI agent security and governance platform spanning SaaS, cloud, and endpoint settings. The company says its platform provides discovery, posture management, monitoring, and runtime policy enforcement. These descriptions are Zenity’s claims, not independent evaluations of the product.

How does Zenity say it secures AI agents?
Zenity’s stated position is that knowing an agent’s permissions does not, by itself, show whether a particular action suits the task it was meant to perform. The company argues for considering context and intent alongside identity, prompt inspection, and post-incident analysis. In its 2026 funding announcement, Zenity says its product can allow, modify, or block an action before it executes. That is the vendor’s account of its approach, not independently verified comparative performance.
In that same release, Zenity summarized its product thesis this way: “AI agent security requires more than visibility. It requires understanding an agent’s intent and enforcing hard boundaries that govern its actions, even as enterprise environments continuously evolve.” This statement explains the company’s rationale; it should not be read as proof that the platform prevents a particular class of incident.

How does the Series B fit into Zenity’s funding timeline?
| Round | Announcement and lead investors | What Zenity reported |
|---|---|---|
| Series B | $38 million, announced October 29, 2024; co-led by Third Point Ventures and DTCP. Zenity announcement | Total capital raised exceeded $55 million, according to Zenity. |
| Series C | $125 million, announced August 2026; led by Norwest. Zenity listed new investors Qumra Capital, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Hitachi Ventures, and LG Technology Ventures, alongside returning investors Vertex Ventures, Third Point Ventures, DTCP, and Intel Capital. Zenity announcement | Zenity reported more than 230 employees worldwide and said revenue had tripled in each of the previous two years. Those are company-reported figures, not independently audited figures in the announcement. |
The later Series C changes how the 2024 round should be described: the $38 million raise was an important step in Zenity’s financing history, but it is not the company’s latest announced round.
What does this funding mean for enterprise buyers?
A funding announcement can indicate investor backing and a company’s stated expansion priorities; it does not establish that a product meets a buyer’s security requirements. Zenity’s announcements do not independently verify platform efficacy, customer outcomes, or revenue growth. Organizations evaluating AI agent security should assess the product against their own environment and controls rather than treating the raise or vendor descriptions as evidence of effectiveness.

- Check which agent environments and deployment settings the product actually supports for your use case.
- Ask how discovery, behavioral context, governance policies, and runtime enforcement work in the configurations you intend to use.
- Request evidence relevant to your risks, including customer outcomes and technical validation, and distinguish vendor-provided claims from independent assessments.
- Compare offerings against the same requirements; the cited announcements do not provide a direct competitor comparison.
