ZAGG’s four USB-C hubs and docks target different setups: a compact hub with wireless charging, a tablet stand with media controls, two-display hubs, and a desk dock that raises a laptop or tablet. The right choice depends on the ports you need and your screen setup—not simply the port count. ZAGG announced the lineup on March 19, 2025; its listed prices were unchanged when the product pages were accessed on September 28, 2026.

How the four ZAGG hubs and docks compare

The specifications below are published by ZAGG or in its product manual; they are not independent test results. Confirm that your particular laptop or tablet supports the display and charging arrangement you plan to use.

Which model should you choose?

Choose the 4-Port Hub for a small kit and wireless charging

The 4-Port Hub is the simplest fit if you need a single HDMI connection, basic USB expansion, and a wireless charging surface in a compact package. Its integrated cable folds into the hub, and ZAGG lists support for Windows, macOS, iPadOS, ChromeOS, Android, and USB4 hosts. That broad list is not a device-by-device compatibility guarantee: the host still needs to support the connection features you plan to use.

Choose the 6-Port Media Hub for a tablet workstation

Choose the 9-Port Hub for travel with two displays or Ethernet

The 9-Port Hub adds Ethernet, card readers, audio, and a second HDMI output while remaining a portable hub. Its two HDMI outputs do not have matching stated refresh limits: ZAGG’s manual specifies up to 4K at 60Hz on one output and up to 4K at 30Hz on the other.

Can these ZAGG hubs connect two monitors?

The 9-Port Hub and Pro Dock each have two HDMI outputs. ZAGG specifies one output up to 4K at 60Hz and the other up to 4K at 30Hz; the specifications do not support describing either as dual 4K at 60Hz. The 4-Port Hub and 6-Port Media Hub specify one HDMI output up to 4K at 60Hz.

Those are product specifications, not a universal promise that every laptop or tablet will drive the same monitors through the hub. The sources do not provide a complete host-device compatibility matrix. Check your device’s USB-C video-output support and the requirements of your monitors before choosing a two-screen arrangement.

Will a ZAGG hub charge your laptop?

ZAGG specifies up to 100W pass-through charging for the three portable hubs. The Pro Dock instead includes a 150W power supply for connected devices. These figures describe the products’ stated capabilities; they do not guarantee that a particular laptop will receive that amount of power. Actual charging depends on the host and setup, so check your device’s power requirements and the hub or dock’s instructions.

What ZAGG said at launch—and what the prices mean
