Short answer: the Yeston GeForce RTX 3050 6GB low-profile card is a legitimate product, but the advertised “$200, expires in 4 hours” offer cannot be verified as a live deal. At the time of this check (September 30, 2026), Newegg’s listing for item 9SIAZUEKD20876 was indexed as out of stock, with price signals roughly between $245 and $339. Buy only if checkout shows the exact low-profile model, a near-$200 final total, and acceptable marketplace terms.

Current Newegg status

The listing is for the Yeston GeForce RTX 3050 6GB GDDR6 LP, sold by Yeston through Newegg Marketplace. The indexed page identifies item 9SIAZUEKD20876 and currently shows the product as out of stock. Separate indexed captures show prices approximately from $245 to $339, rather than a confirmed $200 checkout price.

Check the live listing before relying on any deal alert: Newegg product page. The “expires in 4 hours” wording should be treated as an earlier promotion claim unless a current page, screenshot, or checkout confirms the countdown.

Verify these terms at checkout

  • Exact model and selected variant: RTX 3050 6GB low-profile, not another Yeston card.
  • In-stock status, item condition, shipping charge, tax and any coupon or account requirement.
  • Delivery estimate and whether the seller is Yeston or another Marketplace vendor.
  • Return window, return-shipping responsibility, restocking fees and warranty coverage.
  • Final total for your location; a displayed price is not necessarily the delivered price.

Marketplace ratings and policies can change. The indexed listing showed a Yeston seller rating of 4.7 from 222 ratings and a 30-day return signal, but confirm those details on the order page.

Listed boost clock 1,470 MHz
PCIe interface PCI Express 4.0 x8 in the specification block

Dimensions with full-height bracket Approximately 160 × 120 × 35 mm

Newegg’s title references PCIe 3.0 while its detailed specification says PCIe 4.0 x8. Do not treat the conflicting labels as two different products. PCIe is backward-compatible in normal use, but performance depends on the motherboard, available lanes and workload.

Yeston’s product page provides the manufacturer’s own listing for the 6GB half-height-baffle version: Yeston RTX 3050 6GB.

Why $200 matters for this card

The attraction is not simply the RTX 3050 name. This card combines a roughly 160 mm length, low-profile bracket, approximately 35 mm thickness, 6GB of VRAM and no listed external PCIe power connector. Those traits target Dell OptiPlex, HP EliteDesk, Lenovo ThinkCentre and other compact desktops where a normal gaming card will not fit or cannot receive a power cable.

At about $200, you are paying partly for physical compatibility. That can be worthwhile for a small-form-factor upgrade, even when a larger case could provide faster frames per dollar with a full-size GPU. At $245–$339, the value proposition becomes much less compelling unless the low-profile, slot-powered design is a hard requirement.

Will it fit your small-form-factor PC?

“Low profile” describes the bracket height, not universal compatibility. Measure the actual chassis and check the manufacturer’s service manual before ordering.

Physical checks

  • Confirm the case accepts a half-height expansion bracket.
  • Measure at least 160 mm of unobstructed card length.
  • Allow for approximately 35 mm thickness and clearance around the adjacent slot, drive cage and case wall.
  • Verify that the package includes the half-height bracket; do not assume every retail bundle contains both brackets.
  • Check that the motherboard’s PCIe slot is accessible and that the bracket screw holes align.

OEM-system cautions

Dell, HP and Lenovo systems can impose BIOS, airflow, proprietary-PSU and chassis-clearance limits. A card may fit the PCIe slot yet fail because of a drive cage, front-panel structure, restricted ventilation or insufficient system headroom. Compatibility should be assessed against the exact computer model, not just the OptiPlex, EliteDesk or ThinkCentre brand.

Power, heat and noise

The Newegg specification lists no external PCIe power connector, which is useful for systems whose power supplies have no six- or eight-pin GPU lead. It does not mean every low-wattage or proprietary PSU is safe. Account for the CPU, drives, fans, other cards, PSU age and the motherboard’s slot-power limits. The seller lists a power supply above 400W as guidance; that is seller guidance, not a universal requirement for every configuration.

Compact coolers have less heatsink and airflow than full-size designs. A Newegg review titled “Decent performance but runs hot!” is an individual report, not controlled testing. In a cramped office chassis, blocked vents, dust or recirculated exhaust can raise temperatures and fan noise. A front intake or rear exhaust modification may be needed for sustained gaming.

Performance you should expect

  • Target 1080p gaming, generally with medium or tuned settings rather than maximum settings in demanding releases.
  • Six gigabytes of VRAM offers more room than many 4GB cards, but this remains an entry-level RTX product.
  • Ray tracing can be costly at this performance level.
  • DLSS can improve playability where a game supports it; support and image quality vary by title.
  • Older CPUs common in office PCs may limit frame rates before the GPU does.
  • A PCIe 3.0 host should be compatible in ordinary backward-compatible operation, but exact results vary by platform and workload.

No reliable, model-specific independent benchmark set establishes a universal frame-rate claim for this Yeston card, so be cautious with listings that promise a particular FPS.

Installation checklist

  1. Shut down the PC, unplug AC power and discharge residual power according to the system manual.
  2. Remove the slot cover and install the half-height bracket if required and supplied.
  3. Insert the card fully into the compatible PCIe slot and secure the bracket.
  4. Reassemble the case, reconnect power and confirm that vents are unobstructed.
  5. Boot the operating system and install the latest compatible NVIDIA driver from NVIDIA’s official driver page.
  6. Confirm detection in Windows Device Manager or your Linux hardware tool.
  7. Test both display outputs, then run a short graphics workload while watching temperatures, clocks and fan noise.

Who should buy at $200?

  • You specifically need a low-profile card around 160 mm long.
  • Your system lacks a practical external GPU power connector.
  • The card is genuinely in stock, new, and covered by a usable return policy.
  • The delivered total remains close to $200 after shipping and tax.
  • You want NVIDIA features such as DLSS and accept modest 1080p performance.

Who should wait or skip it?

  • The page is out of stock or the final price is closer to $250–$340.
  • Your case accepts a full-size card, letting you compare faster options at similar money.
  • Your CPU or proprietary PSU is unusually restrictive.
  • The listing is open-box without clear warranty and return terms.
  • You need high-refresh-rate 1440p gaming, extensive ray tracing or more than two display outputs.

Alternatives to check

Yeston direct

Yeston’s official RTX 30-series collection is a useful fallback, but current price and inventory must be verified directly.

MSI low-profile RTX 3050

MSI offers an RTX 3050 LP 6G/LP 6G OC family. Check the exact model’s dimensions, bracket, clock, power behavior, warranty and price in the official MSI specification PDF. A mainstream-brand alternative may provide clearer support, but it is not automatically smaller or better value.

Verdict

The $200 price is attractive only when the card is actually available and your PC needs this particular form factor. As checked on September 30, 2026, the Newegg listing was indexed out of stock and above $200, so do not buy on the strength of an old countdown headline. Recheck item 9SIAZUEKD20876, confirm the final checkout total and seller terms, and proceed only when the low-profile fit, power capacity and return protection all work for your exact system.
