A PCMag listing reports a $254 price for a pair of XREAL AR glasses during Amazon’s Big Deal Days, with a stated $45 discount. That does not verify an active deal, a Prime Day offer, or the headline’s “lowest price ever” claim. The listing’s product name is rendered ambiguously as “The X by XReal a01+,” so the exact model is not clear enough to match to a product listing or confirm specifications.
What the deal listing actually says
The PCMag wearable-category result, accessed October 7, 2026, associates the reported $254 price and $45 discount with Amazon’s Big Deal Days. The result provides no publication date for the deal listing, and a search-result report is not confirmation that the offer is still available.
Its sale-event wording is Big Deal Days, not Prime Day. The evidence available for this offer therefore does not establish that it is a current Prime Day deal.
Is it really the lowest price ever?
That claim is not independently verified here. The PCMag headline uses “lowest price ever,” but the surfaced listing does not provide a price-history record or other comparative evidence showing that $254 is the product’s all-time low. Treat the phrase as the publisher’s deal claim, not as a confirmed price-history finding.

Which XREAL glasses are on offer?
The listing identifies the item as XREAL AR smart glasses, but its rendered model name—“The X by XReal a01+”—is ambiguous. Without a reliably identified model, it would be unsafe to attach model-specific specifications, compatibility details, or a retailer listing to this offer.
That distinction matters because smart glasses are not a single-feature category. PCMag describes the category broadly in terms of cameras, headphones, and AR displays; those are comparison axes, not confirmed features of the glasses in this listing. Confirm the exact model and its official specifications before deciding whether it meets a particular need.

What to check before buying
- Confirm the model. Match the product name and model identifier on the retailer page to the manufacturer’s product information. Do not rely on the ambiguous search-result rendering alone.
- Check the live price and event. Verify the current listing price, discount, seller, and availability. The reported $254 offer is tied to Big Deal Days and may no longer be active.
- Verify the features you need. Check whether the confirmed model provides the camera, audio, or AR-display functions relevant to your use; the category description alone does not establish which functions this item has.
- Assess the record-low claim separately. A discount from a stated price does not by itself prove an all-time low. Look for a reliable price-history record before treating “lowest price ever” as established.
About the listing’s affiliate disclosure
PCMag’s listing says: “PCMag editors select and review products independently. If you buy through affiliate links, we may earn commissions, which help support our testing.” This is PCMag’s disclosure; it does not establish a commission rate, current affiliate-program terms, or the identity of a matching retailer listing for these glasses.
