The Redmi Turbo 5 and vivo V60 take different approaches: the Turbo 5’s listed strengths are its performance-oriented chipset and larger battery, while the V60 offers a larger display and a rear camera setup that includes a telephoto camera. Prices surfaced for India are from different listing contexts, so they do not establish a reliable current price difference between matching configurations.
Redmi Turbo 5 vs vivo V60 specs at a glance
| Specification | Redmi Turbo 5 | vivo V60 |
|---|---|---|
| Processor | MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra, as reported by comparison and launch-report sources | Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, also listed on vivo’s UAE specifications page |

Specifications and availability can vary by market and variant. The Turbo 5 figures above come from secondary comparison or launch-report sources; vivo’s screen and selfie-camera details are from its UAE page, while its battery and charging figures are from the India store listing. Check the exact regional model before buying.
Which is better for performance: Redmi Turbo 5 or vivo V60?
The Redmi Turbo 5 is the spec-based choice if performance is your priority: its listed MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra is positioned differently from the vivo V60’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. The available sources do not provide a comparable controlled benchmark, so the chipset names alone are not proof of how the phones perform against each other in demanding games or everyday use.

Software versions cited also differ: comparison sources list Android 16 with HyperOS for the surfaced Turbo 5 version, while vivo’s UAE page lists Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 for the V60. Those details may not describe every regional configuration, and they do not establish either phone’s local update commitment. Check the manufacturer’s support terms for the version sold in your market.

Is the vivo V60 screen bigger?
Yes. The V60’s listed 6.77-inch display is larger than the Turbo 5’s 6.59-inch screen. vivo UAE specifies AMOLED, 2392 × 1080 pixels and up to 120Hz for the V60; comparison listings give the Turbo 5’s resolution as 1,268 × 2,756 pixels and its refresh rate as up to 120Hz. If you want more screen area, the V60 has the advantage on the listed dimensions. The figures come from different sources and markets, so verify the local variant.
Which phone has the stronger camera setup for portraits and selfies?
The V60 has the more elaborate listed rear-camera arrangement: its comparison listing includes a 50MP telephoto camera alongside a 50MP main and 8MP ultrawide. A telephoto camera gives it a dedicated additional focal length option that the Turbo 5’s listed 50MP main and 8MP ultrawide set does not show. That makes the V60 the more flexible option on paper for portraits, but megapixel counts and camera lists do not establish better photos.

For selfies, vivo UAE lists a 50MP ZEISS group selfie camera, compared with the Turbo 5’s reported 20MP front camera. This is a resolution difference, not a guarantee of superior selfie quality; the available sources do not provide comparable photo tests.
Which has the larger battery and faster charging?
The Redmi Turbo 5 has the larger stated battery capacity and higher listed wired charging rate: 7,540mAh and 100W, compared with the vivo V60’s 6,500mAh and 90W. The Turbo 5 figures are from secondary launch/specification reporting; vivo India’s official store listing provides the V60 figures. These capacities and wattages do not establish real-world battery life or charging time, which depend on usage, conditions and the specific model.

What is the price difference in India?
The surfaced figures do not give a dependable current, like-for-like price difference. They refer to different variants and listing contexts, and prices can change. Use them as reference points, not as a live comparison:
| Phone and configuration | Price evidence | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| Redmi Turbo 5, 8GB/256GB | ₹37,999 reported as an India launch price in a Xiaomi Community repost of a report attributed to Redmi India and Gadgets 360 | Secondary report of a launch price, not a current selling price |
| Redmi Turbo 5, 12GB/256GB | ₹40,999 reported as an India launch price in the same secondary report | Secondary report of a launch price, not a current selling price |
| Redmi Turbo 5, configuration not specified in the comparison result | ₹41,999 shown “@ Amazon” by 91mobiles | Comparison-site listing; the result does not establish live stock or a matching variant |
| vivo V60, selected 8GB/256GB configuration | ₹43,999 on vivo India’s store listing | Official store price captured for the selected configuration; not a guaranteed current offer |
To determine today’s difference, compare the same RAM and storage capacity at checkout from sellers serving your location. Include any delivery charges or discounts in the comparison, and confirm warranty coverage and what is included with each regional model. vivo India’s listing also showed 8GB/128GB, 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB configurations; the available price evidence does not establish matching current prices for all variants.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Redmi Turbo 5 if its listed chipset, larger stated battery capacity or higher wired charging rate best matches your priorities. This is a specification-based recommendation, not a result from controlled head-to-head testing.
- Choose the vivo V60 if you prefer its larger listed screen, want the added telephoto camera option, or value its 50MP ZEISS front camera specification.
- Let price decide only after checking current prices for the same RAM/storage configuration, the exact regional model and the seller’s warranty terms.
Check the regional model before you buy
The price evidence here is India-facing, but vivo’s official specifications cited for display, processor, software and selfie camera are from the UAE product page. A phone sold in another market may differ in specifications, supported networks, included items or availability. Confirm the model number, network compatibility and local warranty with the seller or manufacturer before ordering. For the vivo V60, compare the local listing with vivo UAE’s official specifications and vivo India’s store listing. For the Redmi Turbo 5, consult Xiaomi India and treat the reposted launch/specification report as secondary evidence.
