The REDMI Turbo 5 leads on listed display resolution, battery capacity and wired charging speed, while the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G offers a stated six-generation Android OS upgrade commitment and six years of security updates. Xiaomi India listed its 8GB/256GB Turbo 5 at ₹41,999 when checked; a comparable current Samsung price was not available from the official listing, so a reliable price difference cannot be calculated yet.
The specifications below are manufacturer claims, not results from a head-to-head test. Prices and availability can change; check the linked India listings before buying.

Which phone has the better display?
The Turbo 5 has the higher listed resolution: 2756 × 1268 pixels on a 6.59-inch panel, compared with Samsung’s 1080 × 2340 on a 16.91 cm full-rectangle panel. Both manufacturers list refresh rates up to 120Hz. The resolution advantage is a specification-sheet difference; it does not establish which screen is brighter outdoors, more color-accurate, or better calibrated.

How do their performance specifications compare?
Xiaomi names the Turbo 5’s MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra and lists CPU speeds up to 3.4GHz. Samsung’s page identifies a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 in explanatory text and lists CPU speeds of 2.4GHz and 1.8GHz. These specifications do not provide a fair measure of real-world speed: the clock figures alone cannot establish performance across different chip designs, and no comparable benchmark results are available here.
For demanding games or sustained workloads, seek independent tests that use the same benchmark versions and comparable settings. The listed processor names and speeds are useful for identifying each configuration, not for assigning a quantified performance lead.

Battery capacity and charging: Turbo 5 has the larger listed battery
Xiaomi lists a 7540mAh typical silicon-carbon battery for the Turbo 5, along with 100W wired charging and 27W wired reverse charging. Samsung lists a 6000mAh typical battery for the F70 Pro 5G and claims up to 28 hours of video playback; it says that figure comes from controlled testing and that actual battery life varies.

The capacities and charging claims favor Xiaomi on paper, but they are not a direct endurance comparison. Samsung’s video-playback estimate is not measured under the same conditions as Xiaomi’s capacity figure, and neither tells you exactly how long the phone will last with your apps, signal conditions, screen settings, and usage.

Camera hardware: compare the lenses, not just megapixels
The Turbo 5 has a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide and a 20MP front camera. Samsung lists a 50MP + 5MP + 2MP rear-camera setup with OIS, plus a 12MP front camera.
Those specifications identify the listed camera hardware, but megapixel counts and the number of rear lenses do not establish image quality. The sheets do not provide a controlled comparison of detail, low-light results, video stabilization or color processing. If camera performance will decide the purchase, compare sample photos and videos taken under similar conditions.

Price difference in India: what can be confirmed
Xiaomi India Store displayed ₹41,999 for the REDMI Turbo 5 8GB/256GB when checked in 2026, alongside a marketing price of ₹54,999. Samsung’s retrieved official listing did not provide a current purchasable price for a matching variant and showed “Not for sale.” The evidence therefore supports neither a like-for-like price gap nor a claim that one phone is cheaper overall.

Size, weight and software support
Samsung’s listed phone is 162.4 × 78.2 × 8.1mm and weighs 206g; Xiaomi lists the Turbo 5 at 157.53 × 75.19 × 8.18mm and 204g. On those figures, the Turbo 5 is shorter and narrower, while Samsung’s phone is slightly thinner and 2g heavier. How those dimensions feel in hand depends on more than the measurements alone.
Samsung states six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates from the phone’s first global launch, and its product page lists security updates through July 31, 2032. The cited Xiaomi specifications page does not state an equivalent support duration, so this comparison cannot establish Xiaomi’s support period or claim that it is shorter.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the REDMI Turbo 5 if: its higher listed screen resolution, larger stated battery, 100W wired charging, or 8MP ultrawide better fits your priorities—and its current price and availability work for you.
- Choose the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G if: Samsung’s stated six-generation OS upgrade and six-year security-update commitment is a deciding factor, or its listed camera configuration and screen suit your needs.
- Wait to compare prices if: your decision depends on which costs less. The available official listings do not establish current, like-for-like transaction prices.
Neither specification sheet establishes a winner for everyday speed, battery endurance, camera quality, or overall value. Those judgments require comparable testing and current prices for matching memory tiers.
