Neither listed capacity nor charging maximum alone establishes real-world battery life or charging time, and camera resolution does not establish which phone takes better photos.
Price difference: what the official launch prices show
The available Samsung prices apply to different countries and configurations, and are launch figures rather than a current retail quote. Xiaomi’s cited India specification page gives no price, so the evidence does not support an exact REDMI Turbo 5-versus-Galaxy A27 5G price difference.

Display: a slightly larger Samsung screen, a sharper listed REDMI resolution
Samsung lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel, while Xiaomi lists a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with a 2756 × 1268 resolution. Both are specified for refresh rates up to 120 Hz. The Galaxy has the larger stated diagonal; the REDMI has the higher stated pixel dimensions. Those measurements do not, by themselves, settle perceived sharpness, brightness or overall display quality.
Performance and storage: compare exact configurations
Xiaomi lists the Dimensity 8500-Ultra, manufactured on a TSMC 4 nm process and clocked up to 3.4 GHz. Samsung lists the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 on a 4 nm process. The processor names and process descriptions are manufacturer specifications; no comparable benchmark results are established here, so they do not support a claim that one phone is faster in actual use.

Cameras: compare the listed hardware, not assumed photo quality
The REDMI has a listed 50 MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. Samsung lists a 50 MP OIS main camera, a 5 MP ultra-wide and a 2 MP macro camera. For selfies, Xiaomi lists a 20 MP front camera and Samsung a 12 MP front camera. Megapixel counts and camera configurations alone do not establish image quality; there is no comparable camera testing in the cited material.
Durability and water resistance
Xiaomi lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K water- and dust-resistance ratings; Samsung lists IP64. These are manufacturer-listed ratings, not guarantees against damage in every situation. Check the terms that apply to the specific model and market, and do not treat a rating as a promise that water damage will be covered by warranty.

The REDMI listing specifies HyperOS 3 with Android 16. Samsung specifies Android 16 with One UI 8.5 and states that the Galaxy A27 5G will receive up to six Android/One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates from its initial global launch. No equivalent support-period commitment was verified in Xiaomi’s cited listing, so that absence should not be read as proof that Xiaomi will provide no updates.

- Consider the REDMI Turbo 5 if its listed higher battery capacity, faster wired-charging maximum, higher-resolution display or listed 100 W charging are priorities—and its local availability, bands and warranty suit you.
- Consider the Galaxy A27 5G if you value Samsung’s explicit update commitment, microSD expansion, a slightly larger listed display or a Samsung configuration and launch-market price that fits your budget.
- Before choosing either, check the exact local variant, live price, carrier-band compatibility and warranty. Xiaomi’s listing is regional to India and says product details and box contents may vary.
