Redmi Turbo 5: greater stated capacity and faster wired charging
Xiaomi lists a typical 7540mAh battery and 100W wired charging for the Redmi Turbo 5. Those figures give it the advantage on published battery capacity and wired charging rate. Xiaomi’s India specifications also list a 100W adapter in the box.

Motorola lists a 4800mAh battery, 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging for the Edge 70 in its UK specifications. The wireless option is a practical distinction if charging on a compatible wireless pad matters to you. Motorola notes that a 68W charger may be sold separately in some markets, so check the contents for the exact regional model.

Which is easier to carry?
The Edge 70 is the clear choice if low weight and a slim profile are priorities: Motorola publishes a weight of 159g and thickness of 5.9mm on its global product page. Xiaomi’s India specifications list the Redmi Turbo 5 at 204g and 8.18mm. The published figures make the Motorola substantially thinner and lighter; whether that trade-off is worth choosing over the Redmi’s larger stated battery depends on what you value more.

How do their displays compare?
Both phones have high-refresh AMOLED-family displays specified at up to 120Hz. The Redmi is listed with a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel at 2756 × 1268, while the Edge 70 has a 6.67-inch pOLED panel at 2712 × 1220. Motorola’s screen is slightly larger, while Xiaomi’s listed resolution is higher. Manufacturer brightness figures alone would not establish which display is easier to view in real conditions, and no comparative display test is available.

Which is faster, and which configuration should you buy?
The manufacturer pages name different processors: MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra for the Redmi Turbo 5 and Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 for the Edge 70. Motorola’s cited UK configuration specifies 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage; the cited Xiaomi India details do not establish comparable memory and storage figures.

Those specification differences are not enough to declare a performance winner. A fair speed comparison needs independent tests using comparable regional models and conditions. Before buying, confirm the RAM and storage configuration sold in your market rather than assuming the UK Motorola specification applies everywhere.
What is the Redmi Turbo 5 vs Edge 70 price difference?
A reliable direct price difference cannot be calculated from the available official price information. Motorola’s Mexico announcement gives a launch starting price of MXN 12,999, while the cited Xiaomi India pages do not provide a comparable current price. These are different markets and price bases, so subtracting one from the other would be misleading.

For a useful comparison, check the current selling prices in your country for the same storage tier, and compare like with like: the same tax treatment, seller type, and whether the price is a launch offer or a regular listing. Also verify stock and the exact regional model before ordering.

Is the Redmi Turbo 5 available to buy?
Xiaomi’s campaign page labels the phone “COMING SOON.” That is campaign wording and may change over time; it does not, by itself, establish broad current availability. A specifications page is not confirmation that the phone is in stock or on sale in a particular country, so check Xiaomi’s local store or an authorized local seller for current status.
