The Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 5G and iQOO Z11xa 5G differ most clearly in display technology, processor, battery capacity and regional configurations. For India, iQOO’s official store listing showed ₹28,999 for the 8GB+128GB Z11xa, but a comparable current Redmi India price was not established, so an exact price difference cannot be calculated. Xiaomi’s published Redmi specifications also vary by region: its India page lists an 8000mAh typical battery, while its global and UK pages list 7700mAh.

Which display and design differences matter?
Redmi: larger AMOLED panel
Xiaomi lists a 6.99-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and up to 120Hz refresh on its global page. The UK specification page gives the resolution as 2396×1080. AMOLED and LCD are different display technologies, but the listed specifications alone do not establish which screen looks better in use; brightness, calibration and viewing conditions matter too.
iQOO: smaller LCD, with 120Hz advertised
The Z11xa has a 6.76-inch 2344×1080 LCD in iQOO’s India parameters. Its product page advertises a 120Hz refresh rate. If screen size or AMOLED is your deciding factor, the Redmi’s listed panel has the advantage on those specific specifications. That is not a conclusion about overall display quality.

Battery capacity and charging: compare the correct Redmi variant
The Redmi’s battery figure depends on the market page: Xiaomi lists 7700mAh globally and in the UK, but 8000mAh typical on its India specification page. iQOO lists 7200mAh for the India Z11xa. These are manufacturer-stated capacities, not comparable battery-life measurements; capacity alone cannot show which phone lasts longer in a particular person’s use.
Xiaomi lists 45W charging on the reviewed global and India pages, while iQOO lists 44W. The India Redmi page additionally lists 22.5W wired reverse charging. The one-watt difference between the phones’ stated charging rates does not establish a real-world charging-time advantage, which can depend on more than peak wattage.

Processor, cameras and video: what the listed hardware does—and does not—show
Processors
Xiaomi names the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4; iQOO names the Dimensity 7400-Turbo. Those model names identify different processors, but the available manufacturer specifications do not provide a controlled, like-for-like performance comparison. Do not treat the processor names alone as proof that one phone is faster for gaming or everyday use.

Camera hardware and video features
The reviewed Xiaomi UK specifications list a 50MP rear camera and a 16MP front camera. iQOO lists a 50MP Sony IMX852 main rear camera, a 2MP bokeh camera and a 32MP front camera. iQOO’s product page advertises 4K video from both the front and rear cameras. Megapixel counts do not predict photo quality by themselves, and the cited pages do not establish a comparative camera test.

Price difference and what to verify before buying in India
The official iQOO India store listing displayed ₹28,999 for the Z11xa 5G with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, alongside a displayed MRP of ₹40,999. That captured listing also marked the phone out of stock. These are listing-time details, not a guarantee of today’s price or availability.
A current official Xiaomi India price for a specific Redmi Note 17 5G configuration was not established, so there is no defensible exact price difference to report. Avoid comparing the iQOO’s listed 8GB+128GB price with an old, converted, third-party or mismatched Redmi price. Check both manufacturers’ India listings for the same date and memory/storage configuration before deciding which costs less.

Regional variants, box contents and network compatibility
Do not mix regional Redmi specifications
Xiaomi’s India page lists a different battery capacity and memory options from its UK page. The India page lists 6GB or 8GB RAM with 128GB storage; the UK page lists 6GB+128GB or 6GB+256GB. Xiaomi also notes that network bands and package contents may vary by region. Confirm the country-specific model and its supported bands before importing or buying a device intended for another market.

Xiaomi’s UK specification page says the power adapter is not included in the box. Its India page says a 45W adapter is included in the listed India package, while warning that package contents can vary by region and packaging version. The iQOO store listing describes a charger, cable, case and applied protective film in the box. Confirm the exact retailer’s package details for the unit being sold rather than assuming accessories are identical across markets.
