Which has the better display and performance?
Display
Both manufacturers list AMOLED screens with refresh rates up to 120 Hz. Xiaomi specifies a 6.77-inch panel at 2392 × 1080, while Samsung lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display. The quoted specifications establish a small diagonal difference and Xiaomi’s stated resolution; they do not establish comparative brightness, color accuracy, or outdoor readability.

The Redmi uses MediaTek’s Helio G200-Ultra and the Galaxy A27 5G uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. Clock speeds and chip names alone do not show which phone is faster in everyday use or games. No independently verified benchmark comparison is available here, so choosing a performance winner based only on these names would be misleading.

Which phone has the better cameras?
The Redmi advertises a 200 MP stabilized main camera; Samsung lists a 50 MP stabilized wide camera and adds dedicated 5 MP ultrawide and 2 MP macro cameras. The Redmi’s higher main-camera resolution does not by itself mean it takes better photos: sensor, lens, processing, and shooting conditions also affect results. The cited specifications do not provide a direct image-quality test.
For selfies, Xiaomi lists a 32 MP front camera and Samsung a 12 MP front camera. Those pixel counts are not a substitute for a controlled photo comparison, which the cited sources do not establish.

Battery, charging and durability
Xiaomi lists a 6500 mAh typical battery and 45 W charging for the Redmi; its specifications page also lists a 45 W charger in the box. Samsung lists a 5000 mAh typical battery and 25 W charging for the Galaxy A27 5G. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently measured battery-life results, so they do not prove how long either phone lasts in a particular person’s use.

These ratings indicate tested resistance to dust and water under specified conditions, not that either phone is waterproof. Xiaomi says its protection applies under specific laboratory conditions and that liquid damage is not covered outside warranty terms; check the warranty applicable in your country before exposing a device to water.

Software support and connectivity
The key connectivity difference is straightforward: the unsuffixed Redmi compared here is a 4G model, while the Galaxy A27 5G supports 5G. Check the exact bands and carrier compatibility for the phone’s sales region before buying; Xiaomi says network bands can vary by region.
Samsung India states that the Galaxy A27 5G will receive six Android OS/One UI upgrades and six years of security updates. Xiaomi’s cited global Redmi page lists HyperOS 2 but does not give a clear support-duration promise. On the available stated commitments, Samsung is the clearer choice for buyers who prioritize a published support period.

What is the price difference?
There is no stable global price difference to report: the available figures cover different countries, configurations, and dates. Do not compare a US starting price with Indian rupee prices, or compare phones with different memory configurations as if they were equivalent.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Galaxy A27 5G if 5G connectivity is important, or if you value Samsung India’s clearly stated six-upgrade and six-year security-update commitment.
- Consider the REDMI Note 15 Pro (4G) if 5G is not required and its stated 6500 mAh battery, 45 W charging, or 200 MP main-camera resolution best matches your priorities. These specifications are not proof of longer tested battery life or better photos.
