Neither phone wins across the board on paper. The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G has the stronger camera claim, with a 200MP main sensor and optical image stabilization, plus longer update and durability claims from Xiaomi. The realme P4s 5G leads on stated battery capacity, maximum refresh rate, maximum wired charging and the listed storage standard. A retailer comparison page shows the Redmi at ₹31,999 on Amazon and the realme at ₹34,999 on Flipkart, a ₹3,000 gap. That figure is a single snapshot, not a fixed price, so treat it as a starting point and check live listings before you buy.
Price difference and where each phone is listed
The comparison page lists both phones at the prices below. It does not say which RAM and storage configuration each price applies to, and that matters because the realme is sold in several configurations.
| Phone | Price in comparison snapshot | Retailer named | Release date as reported by the comparison page |
|---|---|---|---|
| Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G | ₹31,999 | Amazon | 4 February 2026 |
| realme P4s 5G | ₹34,999 | Flipkart | 3 September 2026 |
These are not official launch prices, and the comparison page does not state the snapshot date. The release dates are the publisher’s reported dates, not confirmed launch announcements.

Display: a larger panel or a faster refresh rate
The Redmi has the slightly larger panel, at 6.83 inches against the realme’s roughly 6.78 inches, and it lists Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. Its peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits is a maximum figure, and Xiaomi does not state the conditions under which it is reached. The realme’s 144Hz ceiling is the higher figure. A higher maximum refresh rate only matters when the content and the software actually drive the panel at that rate, so the 120Hz versus 144Hz gap is most visible in games and scrolling that support it.

Gaming performance: what realme claims and what is unverified
realme publishes an AnTuTu V11 score of 1,013,645. The score is attributed to realme Lab, and the source does not give the year of the test. realme also states that its 144FPS result in BGMI is produced by dedicated chip frame interpolation and is non-native game rendering, and that actual results may vary.
In practice, that means the 144 figure is partly generated by the chip rather than rendered by the game at that rate. Viewers may still find it smoother, but it is not the same as a native 144 frames per second. The Redmi has no comparable gaming claim in the sources used.
Both phones use the same chipset family, so the silicon alone is unlikely to separate them in games. Any difference would more likely come from software tuning, thermal behavior and display settings. None of the sources measures those, so no winner in gaming can be named from this information.

Camera: 200MP on paper versus 50MP
Xiaomi’s main camera is a 200MP sensor, with a 1/1.4-inch size, an f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilization. The ultrawide is 8MP and the phone records 4K video. The realme’s main camera is listed at 50MP, with an 8MP ultrawide, according to the comparison page.
Recommended Free Tools
A 200MP sensor typically produces images at a lower resolution by combining pixels, unless the full-resolution mode is used. The resolution figure therefore does not directly show image quality. Sensor size, lens, processing and stabilization matter at least as much. The sources do not include sample photos, low-light results, shutter lag or skin-tone rendering, so the camera comparison rests on hardware claims only.
Battery and charging: capacity and wattage are not charge times
The realme has the larger battery. Its page gives 8,000mAh as the typical capacity and 7,820mAh as the rated capacity. The Redmi has 6,580mAh of silicon-carbon battery. The realme’s 80W Ultra Charge is faster than the Redmi’s 45W turbo charging on paper.

A bigger battery does not guarantee longer use, because screen size, refresh rate, network conditions and software all change how much power a phone uses. Higher wattage does not guarantee a shorter charge either, because the phone limits charging speed and the charger in the box may differ. The sources contain no matched test of endurance or charging time for either phone.

Both phones use the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra family. The realme’s memory is LPDDR4X with UFS 3.1 storage, sold in 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB configurations. The Redmi is listed with LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 storage, but the sources do not state its RAM and storage configurations.

Software, protection and updates
The Redmi ships with HyperOS 3 on Android 15 and carries Xiaomi’s 4+6 year update promise. The sources do not spell out how the two parts of that figure are split between Android upgrades and security patches, so check Xiaomi’s India page for the exact wording. The realme ships with realme UI 7.0 and promises three Android OS updates plus four years of Android security patches.
On protection, the Redmi claims IP69K in addition to IP66, IP68 and IP69, and lists Gorilla Glass Victus 2. IP69K covers high-pressure, high-temperature water jets, which is more demanding than the IP69 test. The realme lists IP66, IP68 and IP69 and does not state its front glass. Certification claims are the manufacturers’ own, and the sources do not show independent testing.
Which phone to choose
Choose the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G if:
- Camera hardware is your main priority, and you want the 200MP main sensor with optical stabilization.
- You want the broader protection claim, including IP69K, or the longer update promise as stated by Xiaomi.
- You prefer the larger panel with its stated Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support.
Choose the realme P4s 5G if:
- Battery capacity and fast wired charging are the priorities.
- You want the higher maximum refresh rate, and you accept that the 144FPS gaming figure is interpolated.
- You want faster UFS 3.1 storage and the 12GB/256GB configuration.
If the two phones are priced close together in your market for the same memory configuration, the choice depends on whether camera or battery matters more to you. If the realme costs more for the configuration you need, the Redmi’s listed advantages in camera, protection and update promise carry more weight. Verify the current price, configuration and seller for each phone before deciding.
