The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G has the larger, higher-resolution display, higher-resolution rear main camera and faster rated wired charging; the OPPO F33 5G has the larger stated battery and lower official India launch prices. OPPO’s 15 April 2026 launch prices ranged from ₹31,999 to ₹37,999 by memory configuration. A comparison page displayed the Redmi at ₹39,999 on Amazon, but that is a volatile retail listing, not a fixed or like-for-like price. The published specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos, lasts longer in real use or performs faster.
Price difference in India
OPPO announced these F33 5G launch prices in India on 15 April 2026. The Redmi figure below is a retailer listing observed on a comparison page; its price can change, and the OPPO configuration shown there was not clear.

At those stated figures, the Redmi listing is ₹2,000 above OPPO’s 8GB/256GB launch price, but the comparison is not a confirmed current, like-for-like offer. Check the live price and exact memory variant before buying; discounts, stock and listings may change. OPPO said F33 availability would begin on 26 April 2026.

Display: Redmi is larger and sharper on paper
Xiaomi lists a 6.83-inch, 2772 × 1280 AMOLED screen for the Redmi, compared with OPPO’s 6.57-inch, 2372 × 1080 FHD+ AMOLED on the F33. Both list refresh rates up to 120Hz, though OPPO specifies adaptive 60, 90 and 120Hz modes. Xiaomi’s 3200-nit figure is a peak-brightness claim; OPPO’s 1400 nits refers to typical high-brightness mode. They are different kinds of manufacturer-reported measurements, so they should not be read as a direct brightness test.

Cameras: resolution is not a photo-quality verdict
The Redmi’s listed rear setup pairs a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide. OPPO lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP monochrome rear camera. The Redmi has the higher stated main-camera resolution and includes an ultrawide, but megapixel counts alone do not establish which phone produces better photos. No independent head-to-head camera result is established here.
For selfies, Xiaomi lists a 32MP front camera and OPPO lists a 16MP camera. Do not confuse the standard F33 with the F33 Pro: OPPO’s 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera claim applies to the Pro model, not the F33 covered here.

Battery and charging: larger capacity versus higher charging rating
OPPO states a 7000mAh typical battery capacity for the F33, with 6830mAh rated capacity. Xiaomi states 6500mAh typical capacity for the Redmi. Xiaomi lists 100W wired charging and says a 100W charger is included in the box; OPPO specifies support for up to 80W SUPERVOOC. Battery capacity and maximum charging ratings are specifications, not measured screen-on time or charging duration. Real endurance and charging speed can vary with usage and conditions.
Performance, storage and SIM options
The phones use different processors: Xiaomi lists Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, while OPPO lists MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX. Without comparable benchmarks or testing, those names alone do not establish which phone is faster in games or everyday use.

Compare memory tiers as well as headline prices. Xiaomi lists options starting at 8GB/256GB, while OPPO offers 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. Xiaomi lists either two nano-SIMs or one nano-SIM plus an eSIM, depending on regional and carrier availability. OPPO says the F33 does not support eSIM. Confirm carrier compatibility and network bands for your location before purchase.
Water and dust ratings have limits
Xiaomi lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings; OPPO’s India product page describes IP69K, IP68 and IP66 laboratory testing under ISO 20653:2023. These are protection ratings, not a promise that either phone is waterproof in every circumstance. Xiaomi warns that protection depends on test conditions and can deteriorate. OPPO likewise says protection is not permanent and liquid-ingress damage is not covered by warranty.

Which phone fits your priorities?
- Consider the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G if its larger 1.5K display, listed 200MP OIS main camera, ultrawide camera or 100W charging rating matter most to you.
- Consider the OPPO F33 5G if you want the larger stated battery capacity or a lower entry price, and its screen resolution, camera configuration and available storage tier suit your needs.
- Compare exact variants and current prices before deciding: the official OPPO figures are launch prices, while the cited Redmi price is a changing retailer listing.
These distinctions are based on manufacturer specifications and the stated launch/listing prices, not independent side-by-side tests of speed, camera quality, charging time or battery life.
