The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G has the stronger published hardware numbers for screen resolution, main-camera resolution, rated battery capacity and charging speed. The Galaxy A37 5G offers a 5MP macro camera, an IP68 rating in its Korean configuration and Samsung’s published long-term software-support commitment. There is no reliable universal price difference: the available prices are from different countries and storage configurations, and they do not provide a matched Xiaomi-versus-Samsung comparison.

The table compares Xiaomi’s India specifications with Samsung’s Korean specifications unless a different market is identified. These are regional models, not a guarantee that every country sells the same configuration or includes the same items.

What the display and camera figures tell you
Display size and resolution
Both cited models list refresh rates up to 120Hz. The Redmi’s 6.83-inch, 2772 × 1280 panel is larger and has more pixels than the A37’s 6.7-inch FHD+ panel. Those specifications describe the display hardware; they do not establish how bright, color-accurate or comfortable either screen looks in everyday use.

Camera hardware
The Redmi’s listed main camera has a higher megapixel count, while both phones list OIS on the main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide. Samsung’s Korean A37 specification adds a 5MP macro camera; Xiaomi’s cited India specification lists a 32MP front camera, compared with 12MP on the Korean A37. Megapixel and camera counts alone do not show which phone takes better photos. No independent head-to-head camera results are established here.
Battery capacity, charging and performance
Xiaomi lists a 6500mAh typical battery and 100W charging for the India Redmi configuration. Samsung lists a 5000mAh battery for the Korean A37, but the cited launch specification does not state its charging wattage. Capacity and rated charging figures are not independent battery-life or charging-time tests, so they cannot establish how long either phone lasts or how quickly it charges in practice.

The India Redmi page lists a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and three memory/storage configurations. The cited Korean A37 launch notice specifies 6GB+128GB but does not name a chipset. Without a matched configuration and independent testing, these facts are not enough to declare a performance winner. Samsung’s US purchase page separately offers 128GB and 256GB models; configurations should be checked for the actual market being considered.

Samsung’s March 25, 2026 global announcement says the Galaxy A37 receives up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades and up to six years of security updates. The Korea model’s launch notice specifies IP68. The cited Xiaomi India specifications do not establish directly comparable software-support terms or a durability certification, so these sources do not support a definitive comparison on either point.

Price difference: why the market matters
The official prices available here are not directly comparable: they cover different countries, currencies and configurations, and there is no matching Xiaomi price from those Samsung markets. The figures below illustrate regional pricing, not a price gap between equivalent phones. Samsung retail prices and availability can change.

Which phone makes more sense for your priorities?
- Choose the Redmi for the listed display and charging figures: its India specifications show a larger, higher-resolution screen, a 6500mAh typical battery and 100W charging.
- Consider the Galaxy A37 for Samsung’s stated support and its Korean IP rating: Samsung specifies up to six generations of OS and One UI upgrades, up to six years of security updates, and IP68 for the Korean model.
- Compare camera needs, not just megapixels: the A37’s Korean model includes a macro camera, while the Redmi lists a 200MP OIS main camera. The specifications do not establish which produces better images.
- Check the exact local version before buying: configurations, prices, package contents and specifications can vary by region. Xiaomi’s India package, for example, lists a 100W adapter, USB Type-C cable, SIM eject tool, protective case, quick-start guide and warranty card. Samsung’s US purchase page says no charger is included; its box contains a phone, data cable and ejection pin.
