For buyers in India, the reported POCO X8 Power 5G is the battery-and-charging pick, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G has the higher-resolution main camera and may cost less in some listings. The choice is not settled by specifications alone: X8 Power details here come from a secondary listing, Redmi specifications vary by region, and prices differ by seller and storage. Compare the exact India SKU and final payable price before buying.
India price difference: compare the same storage first
Prices surfaced in India comparisons vary enough that there is no single dependable price gap. In a 91mobiles comparison accessed in 2026, the Redmi Note 15 Pro was listed at ₹31,999 and the POCO X8 Power 5G at ₹35,999, a ₹4,000 difference. Gadgets Now showed the Redmi at ₹34,999 and the POCO at ₹35,999, but those configurations were 8 GB/256 GB and 8 GB/128 GB respectively, so the comparison is not like-for-like. 91mobiles and Gadgets Now are the sources for these listings.
Gadgets Now also surfaced 8 GB/256 GB listings at ₹34,999 for the Redmi and ₹38,999 for the POCO. These are seller- and date-dependent snapshots, not guaranteed current prices. Check the exact RAM/storage configuration, seller, bank or exchange offers, and final payable amount on the same date.

Specs at a glance
The Redmi figures below combine secondary India listings with an official Xiaomi France product page where indicated. They should not be treated as a fully verified India-versus-India specification sheet. POCO X8 Power figures are reported by secondary sources; the official POCO page found for this comparison covers the POCO X8, not the X8 Power.

Which phone has the better battery and charging?
On listed capacity and charging wattage, the POCO has the larger reported numbers: 10,000 mAh and 100 W, versus 6,580 mAh and 45 W for the Redmi. Those are secondary-listing specifications, not independent measurements. Capacity and charging wattage do not establish real-world runtime or a typical full-charge time; the 47-minute figure is a listing claim, not a matched test result.

Choose the POCO if the reported battery capacity and faster wired charging are your priority and you are comfortable verifying those claims against the India SKU. There is no independent matched battery-runtime test for these two exact regional models in the sources cited here.

Which phone has the better camera?
The Redmi listing specifies a 200 MP main camera plus an 8 MP secondary camera; the POCO listing specifies 50 MP plus 8 MP. That gives the Redmi the higher headline main-camera resolution, but megapixels alone do not show which phone takes better photos. No independent camera comparison for these exact models is established here, so do not treat resolution as proof of overall image quality.

What do the display, performance, size, and software listings tell you?
Display
The two listings describe screens of the same reported size and refresh rate: 6.83 inches and 120 Hz. Xiaomi’s official figures are for the France Redmi model; the POCO figures are from a secondary India listing. This is not a verified comparison of India display quality, brightness, or color performance.
Performance
The cited India listing names a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra for the Redmi and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 for the POCO. Chip names alone are not enough to rank speed, gaming, heat, or battery efficiency. No comparable benchmark or hands-on test of these two phones is established by the cited sources.

Size and weight
The listed POCO is 229 g and 8.65 mm thick. Xiaomi’s France Redmi page gives 210 g and 7.96 mm, but that regional figure may not match the India SKU. If pocket weight or thickness matters, verify the local Redmi configuration rather than assuming the France dimensions apply.
Software and update policy
The secondary database lists Android 15 for the Redmi and Android 16 for the POCO, with four OS updates and six years of security updates for each. Confirm the software version and update commitment for the exact India model with the manufacturer; the cited listing is not an official regional policy statement.

Which one should you buy?
- Consider the POCO X8 Power 5G if long battery capacity and higher listed wired-charging wattage are your main priorities, and you can confirm the X8 Power’s India specifications and the price of the storage configuration you want.
- Consider the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G if the listed 200 MP main camera is more appealing or if a matched-storage listing is cheaper. Treat the megapixel advantage as a hardware distinction, not a camera-quality verdict.
- Pause before choosing on performance, screen quality, or software support if those are decisive: the cited material does not provide controlled head-to-head testing, and regional specifications or policies need confirmation.
How to verify the listing before you order
- Open the manufacturer’s India product page or the retailer’s exact product page and confirm the model name includes “POCO X8 Power 5G” or the India “Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G” SKU you intend to buy.
- Match RAM and storage across both phones, such as 8 GB/256 GB, before comparing prices.
- Record the seller, date, listed price, and any bank or exchange discount; compare the final payable amount rather than headline offers.
- Check the local SKU’s battery, charging, camera, network bands, software version, and update terms. Regional variants and operator support can affect what is available.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
