91mobiles’ comparison page displays the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G at ₹39,999 and the Reno16c 5G at ₹49,999, making the listed difference ₹10,000. These are India listing prices, not fixed prices for every configuration or retailer. Check the current listing and match RAM and storage before comparing what you would actually pay: 91mobiles’ comparison page.
Configuration matters especially for the Reno16c. 91mobiles’ separate product page lists ₹57,999 for 8GB+256GB and ₹62,999 for 12GB+256GB, while its comparison page shows a different 8GB configuration and price. Which phone has the better display?
The Redmi has the larger and higher-resolution panel on the specifications available: Xiaomi lists a 6.83-inch 1.5K (2772 × 1280) AMOLED display with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. 91mobiles lists the Reno16c with a 6.57-inch, 1080 × 2372 AMOLED panel at 120Hz. Both are listed at 120Hz, but the Redmi offers more screen area and resolution. This comparison does not establish differences in brightness, calibration or outdoor visibility.
Which phone has the better camera?
There is no sound overall winner based on megapixel counts alone. Choose the Redmi for its listed main-camera hardware
The Redmi’s 200MP main sensor includes optical image stabilization, according to Xiaomi. That specification may appeal if you want a high-resolution primary camera, but it does not by itself prove better photos than the Reno16c.

Choose the Reno16c if you want a dedicated telephoto camera
The Reno16c’s listed telephoto camera offers up to 3.5× optical zoom, giving it a separate camera for zoomed shots rather than relying only on the main camera. 91mobiles also lists a 50MP selfie camera, compared with Xiaomi’s official 32MP front-camera specification. Those resolution figures do not establish which phone takes better portraits or selfies; comparable camera samples or controlled testing would be needed.

Which phone charges faster, and what is known about battery life?
Xiaomi officially lists a 6,500mAh battery and 100W HyperCharge for the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G. Xiaomi India says a full charge takes approximately 40 minutes; this is a manufacturer claim, not an independent charging test. The India FAQ also lists 22.5W reverse charging. Xiaomi India product FAQ.
The Reno16c’s battery and charging specifications are unresolved in the available 91mobiles listings: its comparison table gives 6,500mAh and 45W SuperVOOC, while the product page’s review summary says 7,000mAh and 80W. Without confirmation for the exact OPPO regional SKU, neither figure should be treated as settled, so a charging-speed or battery-capacity winner cannot be named reliably.

Check whether a charger is included
Xiaomi’s Germany product page says the package includes a case and USB-C cable but not a power adapter; it recommends a 100W PD-capable charger or Xiaomi’s official 120W adapter. That is Germany-specific packaging guidance, not confirmation of what comes in the India box. Verify the local package contents before buying a charger. The reviewed 91mobiles material does not settle Reno16c box contents.

Chipset and performance
Xiaomi identifies the Redmi chipset as Snapdragon 7s Gen 4; 91mobiles lists the Reno16c’s as MediaTek Dimensity 7300. Those model names identify the platforms but are not enough to establish which phone is faster in everyday use or gaming. No controlled comparison is used here to declare a performance winner.

Xiaomi Germany lists 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. Xiaomi’s India FAQ indicates that configurations can vary. 91mobiles lists Reno16c storage options of 128GB and 256GB and RAM options of 8GB and 12GB, with different combinations across its listings. Check the exact India SKU and compare equivalent capacities rather than relying on a starting price.
Durability and regional details
Xiaomi India’s FAQ lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for the Redmi and notes that availability or features may vary. These are manufacturer-published claims, not independent testing. Xiaomi Germany also lists Gorilla Glass Victus 2, but that Germany page should not be used to assume every regional SKU has identical materials or packaging. Confirm the exact model sold in your market.
Which one should you buy?
- Choose the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G if the larger, sharper display, 200MP OIS main-camera specification or Xiaomi’s listed 100W charging best matches your priorities.
- Consider the OPPO Reno16c 5G if a dedicated telephoto camera and a 50MP selfie-camera specification matter more to you, and you can verify the exact local model’s battery and charging details.
- Compare current, like-for-like prices for the RAM and storage configuration you intend to buy; the cited India prices are changeable listings rather than guaranteed prices.
Neither specification sheet establishes an across-the-board winner. The Redmi’s display and stated charging rate are clearer advantages on the published figures; the Reno16c offers a distinct telephoto camera. Decide which of those trade-offs matters more, then confirm the exact SKU, price and included accessories with the seller.
