The India model is the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G. Xiaomi lists it in three RAM and storage configurations, with a 200MP stabilised main camera, a 6.83-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, a 6,500mAh typical-capacity battery and a 100W charger in the box. Its price is not fixed: Xiaomi store snapshots and a dated third-party listing show different amounts, so check the seller’s current listing and checkout price before buying.
Price in India and available configurations
Xiaomi India lists three configurations: 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. Xiaomi notes that usable RAM and storage are lower than the stated totals because the operating system and preinstalled software use some space. Confirm both the model name and configuration on the listing before ordering; this article covers the India REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G.

Display: large, high-resolution and fast-refreshing
The 6.83-inch AMOLED panel has a listed resolution of 2772×1280 and refreshes at up to 120Hz. Xiaomi also lists HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 12-bit colour and Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The 3200-nit peak and 1800-nit HBM figures are manufacturer specifications; they should not be read as independent brightness test results or as a guarantee that the screen stays at those levels in every situation.
Cameras: 200MP main and 8MP ultra-wide
The listed rear camera system comprises a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Battery, charging and what is in the box
Xiaomi specifies a 6500mAh typical-capacity battery and a 100W in-box charger. The company’s product page advertises up to two days of battery life, up to 25 hours of video playback and up to 47 hours in its stated use category. These are Xiaomi’s claims, not independently tested runtime figures; actual battery life depends on use and conditions.

Water and dust resistance: read the limitations
Xiaomi lists multiple IP ratings, but its specification page limits the protection claims to specified laboratory conditions and warns that water resistance can deteriorate. An IP rating is not a promise of safe use at the beach or pool, or unrestricted submersion. Follow Xiaomi’s stated cautions rather than testing the phone yourself.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Software and update support
Xiaomi lists HyperOS 3 for the phone. Its product page identifies Android 15 and promises four years of OS updates and six years of security updates. Treat those durations as Xiaomi’s stated support commitment, not as an independently verified guarantee of a particular update’s release date.

What to check before buying
- Confirm the listing says REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G and is the India model.
- Match the RAM and storage option you want: 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB or 12GB+512GB.
- Compare the seller’s current price and final checkout amount; listed offers can differ and change.
- If camera zoom is a priority, note that Xiaomi’s India specifications list a 200MP main camera and 8MP ultra-wide, with no telephoto camera listed.
- Check carrier band compatibility if you depend on particular 5G bands.
- Use Xiaomi’s water-resistance caveats when deciding whether the phone suits your environment.
