The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G has a larger listed battery, rear-camera optical image stabilization (OIS), and a defined software-support commitment. The global Redmi Note 15 5G is lighter and lists a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 20MP selfie camera. These are manufacturer specifications, not head-to-head test results.
This comparison is specifically between Xiaomi’s global Redmi Note 15 5G and Samsung India’s Galaxy F70 Pro 5G. The Redmi Note 15 family also includes 4G models, whose specifications may differ. The listed prices come from different markets and configurations, so they do not establish a meaningful price gap.
Redmi Note 15 5G vs Galaxy F70 Pro 5G specs
The phones share a listed Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 platform, but that does not prove equal real-world speed. Xiaomi specifies the chip directly; Samsung identifies it in a product-page disclaimer, while its specifications list octa-core speeds of up to 2.4GHz and 1.8GHz. No comparative benchmark is established here.

Which phone has the better camera setup?
The Redmi’s rear-camera combination gives you a higher-resolution main-camera specification and a dedicated ultra-wide camera. Samsung lists three rear cameras and OIS, a feature intended to reduce blur from camera movement. The listed megapixel counts and features do not establish which phone takes better photos; no hands-on camera comparison is available here.

For selfies, Xiaomi lists a 20MP front camera and Samsung a 12MP front camera. Resolution alone does not determine image quality, and the listed video capabilities differ: Xiaomi specifies 1080p at 30fps for the front camera, while both manufacturers list 4K at 30fps for rear-camera recording.
Battery capacity, charging and weight
Samsung lists a 6000mAh typical battery; Xiaomi lists 5520mAh typical capacity. Samsung also claims up to 28 hours of video playback under its internal controlled conditions. That figure is not a comparative battery test, and battery capacity by itself cannot tell you which phone lasts longer in everyday use.

The Redmi is listed at 178g, compared with 206g for the Galaxy F70 Pro. It is the lighter choice on the published specifications; the Samsung is the heavier one with the larger stated battery capacity.

Display, storage and software support
Both displays are listed at 120Hz and have a resolution around Full HD+. Xiaomi gives a 6.67-inch diagonal and lists a 3200-nit peak-brightness figure from its internal lab; Samsung describes its display as 16.91cm across the full rectangle, or 16.45cm when rounded corners are accounted for. These figures come from the manufacturers and are not a direct display test.
Storage choices differ. Xiaomi lists up to 512GB of onboard storage and microSD expansion up to 1TB. Samsung lists up to 256GB onboard and microSD expansion up to 2TB, with configurations varying by listing. Check the precise memory and storage option sold in your market before buying.

Samsung states that the Galaxy F70 Pro receives six OS generations and six years of security updates, with support listed through 31 July 2032. Update policies can change. Xiaomi’s global Redmi specifications page lists HyperOS 2 but does not establish an equivalent support duration.
What is the price difference?
A reliable price difference cannot be calculated from the available listings because they cover different countries, currencies, dates and storage configurations.

- Choose the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G on listed specifications if rear-camera OIS, a higher stated battery capacity, microSD expansion up to 2TB, or Samsung’s published update commitment matters most. These are spec-sheet advantages, not proof of superior photos, longer everyday battery life or faster performance.
