The global Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 5G and Samsung Galaxy A26 5G are close in screen size, but differ in charging, camera hardware, water-resistance ratings and software-update commitments. There is no reliable universal price difference: prices vary by country, storage tier and seller. Check matched local listings before deciding.
Which versions are being compared?

Screen: similar size and refresh rate, but brightness is not directly comparable
Both phones offer AMOLED-family displays and refresh rates up to 120 Hz. Samsung specifies FHD+ resolution for the A26; Xiaomi’s cited specifications identify its AMOLED screen and size. Xiaomi lists peak brightness up to 3,200 nits, but the cited Samsung page does not provide a comparable brightness figure. Peak claims may be based on different measurement conditions, so that number should not be treated as proof that one screen is brighter in ordinary use.
Performance, memory and storage
The cited official specifications do not provide a directly comparable chipset or memory configuration for both regional models, so a performance winner cannot be established from them. For expandable storage, Xiaomi lists a hybrid nano-SIM/microSD arrangement with support up to 1 TB. Samsung says the A26 supports expandable storage, but tray design and supported capacity should be verified for the specific market model. Cameras: compare hardware, not megapixel totals
Xiaomi lists a 108 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera and a 20 MP front camera. Samsung’s US product page lists a 50 MP rear wide camera and a 13 MP selfie camera. Megapixels describe image resolution, not overall photo quality: sensor performance, lens, image processing and shooting conditions also matter. The cited specifications do not establish which phone takes better pictures.

Battery and charging
Xiaomi lists a 5,520 mAh typical battery and 45 W charging for the Redmi; Samsung lists a 5,000 mAh typical battery for the A26. Those capacity figures are not a real-world endurance test, so they do not prove which phone lasts longer between charges.
Xiaomi states, “No power adapter included in the box,” and recommends a 45 W adapter supporting PD charging or Xiaomi’s official 45 W adapter. Package contents can differ by region. Durability: IP67 and IP66 have different test limits
Samsung rates the Galaxy A26 5G IP67, based on laboratory testing in up to 1 meter of freshwater for up to 30 minutes. Samsung also warns that resistance may diminish with wear. Xiaomi lists IP66 and qualifies its protection as limited to specific laboratory conditions; liquid damage outside those conditions is excluded. Software support: Samsung states a defined commitment
Samsung says the Galaxy A26 5G will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from its global launch date. Samsung notes that timing and availability can vary by model and market. Price difference: match country, storage and seller first
There is no single dependable price gap for these phones without a target country, storage tier and seller. The available figures are snapshots from different markets and retailers, not like-for-like offers.
