The POCO’s listed 6.83-inch AMOLED panel is 0.06 inches larger diagonally than the Redmi’s 6.77-inch panel. Both are listed as 120 Hz and FHD+ class, so the main stated difference is screen size rather than refresh rate. The figures alone do not establish which display looks better.

Performance: the listed benchmark favors Redmi
91mobiles lists AnTuTu scores of 868,311 for the Redmi and 619,773 for the POCO. That is a result from the publisher’s comparison, not a guarantee of how either phone will feel in every app or workload. Chip names and one benchmark cannot establish day-to-day speed across different software versions and conditions.
Cameras: Redmi has more listed resolution and an ultrawide
The Redmi’s listed rear cameras are a 108 MP main sensor and an 8 MP ultrawide; the POCO lists a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP auxiliary camera. Their selfie cameras are listed at 20 MP and 8 MP, respectively. These figures make the Redmi’s camera arrangement more versatile on paper, but megapixel counts do not establish photo quality, and the cited material does not provide matched camera testing.

Battery and portability: a clear trade-off
The POCO’s reported 8,000 mAh battery is substantially larger than the Redmi’s 5,520 mAh battery, while both list 45 W wired charging. However, 91mobiles’ PCMark battery test reports 15 h 56 m for the POCO and 17 h 00 m for the Redmi. Those are publisher test outputs, not real-world guarantees; capacity and runtime are different measures.
The Redmi is also listed at 178 g and 7.35 mm thick, compared with 225 g and 8.4 mm for the POCO. If you carry your phone all day, that difference may matter more than the POCO’s larger battery; if capacity is the priority, the POCO offers more on paper.

Which one should you buy?
- Choose the Redmi Note 15 5G if you want a lighter, thinner phone, an ultrawide rear camera, or the higher listed camera resolutions. Its listed AnTuTu result is also higher, though that is not a promise of performance in every use.
- Choose the POCO M8 Power 5G if you value a slightly larger display and a much higher stated battery capacity, or if the live price for your preferred configuration makes it the better deal.
- Compare the exact variants first if price is decisive: Redmi listings include 128 GB and 256 GB storage options, while the reported POCO launch configurations both have 128 GB. Make sure the price shown matches the RAM and storage you intend to buy.
