The Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and realme P4 5G have different on-paper strengths: realme lists a larger, faster-refreshing screen, a higher-capacity battery and faster-rated charging; Redmi is listed with a sharper display and a higher-resolution selfie camera. The comparison here is India-specific. Specifications alone cannot establish which phone performs better in everyday use, and the available price snapshots are not reliable live quotes.

The Redmi figures in this comparison come from a third-party listing; the realme figures are also checked against realme’s India specification page. The two phones’ regional variants can differ, so this comparison should not be applied to a Redmi Note 14 Pro version sold in another market.
Which display is better on paper?
The realme P4 5G has the larger listed panel at 6.77 inches and the higher maximum refresh rate at 144 Hz. The Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G’s listed resolution is higher: 1220 × 2712 pixels compared with realme’s 1080 × 2392. realme confirms its display size, resolution and refresh rate in its official India specifications.
Those numbers describe different trade-offs, not a definitive picture-quality result. A higher refresh rate can allow smoother motion in supported content, while a higher resolution means more pixels across the screen. They do not tell you which panel looks better in person.

How do their chipsets compare?
The comparison lists a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra in the Redmi and a Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G in the realme; the latter is confirmed by realme’s official specifications. This identifies a component difference, but the available sources do not include matched independent benchmarks for both phones. It is not enough to declare an overall performance winner.
realme’s product page promotes its own performance figures, including an AnTuTu score and a BGMI frame-rate claim. These are manufacturer claims, not independent head-to-head results, so they should not be treated as a direct comparison with Redmi. See realme’s product page for the claims and their attribution.

Megapixel counts and the number of lenses do not establish which phone takes better photos. No comparative photo samples or controlled camera test are available here, so low-light performance, color, detail and video quality cannot be ranked fairly from these specifications alone.

Battery capacity and charging: realme has higher listed ratings
realme specifies a 7000 mAh typical battery, a 6830 mAh minimum capacity and 80 W charging. The comparison lists the Redmi at 5500 mAh and 45 W. On rated capacity and charging power, the realme has the higher figures.
These ratings do not establish real-world battery life or time to recharge. Neither source provides a matched endurance test or charging-time measurement under the same conditions.

Storage, RAM and software
realme lists the P4 5G with 6 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, running realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. The comparison’s Redmi configuration has 128 GB of storage and lists Android 14; it does not establish a directly equivalent RAM-and-storage configuration for both models. Check the exact variant available from the seller before comparing prices.

What is the price difference in India?
A trustworthy current price gap cannot be calculated from the available price snapshots. Versions of the third-party comparison page show inconsistent prices and retailers, and one returned version showed the realme as unavailable. Those figures are not a live quote and should not be used to claim that one phone is currently cheaper.
For a fair comparison, check both listings on the same day and match RAM and storage where possible. Include the seller, availability and any offers in your calculation; then subtract the lower verified price from the higher one. If equivalent variants are not available, state which configurations you compared rather than presenting the difference as an apples-to-apples result.
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the realme P4 5G if its higher listed refresh rate, larger screen, greater battery capacity or higher charging rating matter most to you.
- Consider the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G if its higher listed display resolution or higher front-camera pixel count better matches your priorities.
- Compare current exact variants if price, RAM or storage is decisive; the available price snapshots do not establish today’s difference.
- Look for independent matched tests before choosing based on performance, camera quality, battery life or charging time. The specifications do not answer those real-world questions.
realme lists a protective case among the P4’s package contents. Check the box contents for the specific regional retail unit rather than assuming an extra case is required.
