This comparison is specifically about the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G—not the 4G or Pro+ model—and the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion. The Edge 60 Fusion is the stronger fit if you want faster listed charging, expandable storage or a higher-resolution selfie camera; the Redmi may suit you better if you prefer an AMOLED screen, an IR blaster or its rear-camera setup. Choose the Edge 60 Fusion if its practical extras matter more
- Its listed 68 W wired charging rate is higher than the Redmi’s 45 W, though actual charging time depends on the charger, use and conditions.
- NanoReview lists microSD expansion up to 1,024 GB for the Edge. Confirm that the exact regional model you are buying supports it.
- Its listed 32 MP front camera has higher resolution than the Redmi’s 20 MP front camera. That alone does not establish better selfies.
- Its Dimensity 7400 is newer than the Redmi’s listed Dimensity 7300 Ultra. NanoReview’s comparison dataset shows the Edge ahead in the benchmark result cited below, but that does not guarantee a speed advantage in every app or on every device.
Choose the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G if its specific features suit you
- Its AMOLED display may be your preference over the Edge’s P-OLED. Both are listed at the same size, resolution and refresh rate; panel labels alone do not settle which looks better to you.
- Its listed rear cameras include an 8 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro alongside the 50 MP main camera, while the Edge is listed with a 13 MP ultrawide and no macro camera in this comparison.
- An IR blaster is one of the Redmi’s listed distinguishing features on NanoReview’s comparison page.

Display: same headline resolution, different panel type
91mobiles lists both phones with 6.67-inch, 120 Hz displays at 1220 × 2712 resolution, identifying the Redmi panel as AMOLED and the Motorola panel as P-OLED. That is a close match on the basic size and resolution figures, not proof that brightness, color, HDR behavior or viewing experience are identical. NanoReview includes display details and ratings, but different rating or testing methods should not be collapsed into a single objective winner. If curved-screen handling or particular HDR formats matter to you, check the exact local model and your preferred review method rather than deciding from panel labels alone.
Cameras: compare the lenses and samples, not just megapixels
Both phones are listed with a 50 MP main rear camera. The Redmi’s listed secondary cameras are an 8 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP macro; the Edge is listed with a 13 MP ultrawide. The Redmi therefore offers a dedicated macro camera in the comparison, while the Edge’s ultrawide has the higher listed resolution. Neither distinction proves which phone produces better photographs.

The front-camera figures are 20 MP for Xiaomi and 32 MP for Motorola. Megapixel counts do not establish selfie quality, exposure, color, focus or video results. If camera quality will decide your purchase, look for sample images and video taken in the conditions you care about—such as low light, moving subjects, ultrawide scenes and video calls—rather than treating the specification sheet as a verdict.
Speed: a modest benchmark lead is not a universal result
NanoReview lists the Dimensity 7300 Ultra in the Redmi and the Dimensity 7400 in the Edge. Its displayed Geekbench 6 single-core scores are 1,006 for the Redmi and 1,086 for the Edge. These are results in NanoReview’s comparison dataset, not guaranteed scores for every retail unit; benchmark versions, software and device conditions can affect results. A small lead in one benchmark does not by itself show how much faster a phone will feel in your everyday mix of apps.

Battery and charging: equal listed capacity, different charging rates
91mobiles lists a 5,500 mAh battery for each phone, with 45 W charging for the Redmi and 68 W for the Edge. The higher listed rate gives Motorola the specification advantage for wired charging, but these figures do not establish which phone lasts longer or how long either takes to charge. Endurance and charge time vary with usage, charger and other conditions.

Durability and storage depend on the exact regional model
NanoReview lists the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G with IP68 and the Edge 60 Fusion with IP69, and lists microSD expansion up to 1,024 GB for the Edge. These are variant-sensitive specifications: comparison pages may describe particular regional versions. Check the manufacturer’s specifications for the exact SKU sold in your country before relying on a water-resistance rating or memory-card support. An IP rating describes a tested ingress-protection classification; it is not a promise that a phone is damage-proof.

The available price figures are India-specific comparison-page snapshots, not manufacturer prices or guaranteed live offers. 91mobiles shows ₹27,000 for the Redmi at Flipkart and ₹20,900 for the Edge at Amazon. Smartprix shows ₹25,899 for the Redmi and ₹22,950 for the Edge; its details page says it was updated September 29, 2026. Because the sites show different figures, use them as a guide to compare—not as a definitive current price list.
