The Moto G57 Power is ₹500 cheaper than the Xiaomi Redmi 15 in the India-focused price snapshot cited here, while Xiaomi publishes more of the Redmi 15’s specifications. Both are listed with 7,000mAh batteries, but capacity alone cannot tell you which lasts longer. The figures below are a comparison-site listing snapshot, not guaranteed current offers; check the exact local variant and seller price before buying.

Price difference in India

Gadgets Now’s comparison listing reports the Xiaomi Redmi 15 at ₹21,499 and the Moto G57 Power at ₹20,999—a ₹500 difference in the Moto’s favour on that snapshot. Redmi figures are from Xiaomi’s global REDMI 15 5G specifications and product overview. Motorola’s India moto g catalogue lists the 8GB/128GB model; its official storefront identifies the chipset and battery. “Not stated” means those details are not established by the cited official material, not that the phone necessarily lacks the feature.

Which phone has the better battery?

Both are identified with a 7,000mAh battery, so the published capacity does not establish a runtime winner. Battery life also depends on factors such as display settings, network conditions, software, and usage. Xiaomi’s overview includes manufacturer-estimated runtime figures based on its internal light-daily-use model and says results may vary; those estimates should not be treated as a direct comparison with independently measured Moto results.

Display: what can be compared

Xiaomi specifies a 6.9-inch FHD+ screen with refresh rate up to 144Hz for the global REDMI 15 5G. The available official India material for the Moto does not provide a matching display specification, so the evidence supports describing the Redmi’s screen, but not claiming a verified size or refresh-rate gap between the two. A higher maximum refresh rate is a specification, not by itself proof of better viewing quality.

Performance: different chip names, no proven winner

The Redmi is listed with Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, while Motorola identifies Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 for the G57 Power. Those are different models, but the cited specifications do not establish how they compare in everyday speed, gaming, heat, or sustained performance. A reliable verdict would require matched testing under comparable conditions; chipset naming alone is not enough.

Storage, charging, cameras, and durability

Storage flexibility

Xiaomi lists global Redmi configurations of 4GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB, plus microSD expansion up to 2TB. The memory and storage options vary by region, and the card is sold separately. Motorola India lists the G57 Power in an 8GB/128GB configuration; the available catalogue information does not establish whether other regional or local variants exist.

Charging

Xiaomi specifies 33W fast charging and says the adapter is not included; it recommends a 33W PD-compatible or official charger. The cited Motorola material does not establish charging speed or box contents. Check the exact regional product listing before assuming an adapter is included or choosing a charger.

Cameras

The Redmi’s listed setup includes a 50MP main rear camera, an auxiliary lens, and an 8MP front camera. Motorola identifies a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera, but the full Moto camera configuration is not verified here. Megapixel counts and sensor names do not substitute for matched photo and video reviews, so they are not enough to name a camera winner.

Durability

Xiaomi advertises IP64 dust and water resistance for the Redmi. A corresponding Moto rating was not established in the cited official material. Do not assume the phones have equivalent protection; check the exact local product specification and warranty terms.

Which is better for the money?

On the cited India listing alone, the Moto G57 Power costs ₹500 less. The Redmi has more fully documented headline specifications in the available material, including its display, charging, storage expansion, and IP64 rating. The Moto’s official storefront identifies its newer-named Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 and 7,000mAh battery, but the evidence here does not establish a performance or runtime advantage.

Choose by the exact local offer and verified configuration rather than by the ₹500 snapshot alone. Compare the same storage tier, then weigh the display, charger and charging support, camera results from comparable reviews, update commitments, regional network bands, and warranty or service availability. Xiaomi explicitly notes that Redmi configurations and network support can vary by region, so its global specifications should not be assumed to match every local SKU.
