Which phone has the better display?
The Redmi’s 6.9-inch panel is larger than the Nord’s 6.72-inch panel. Both are listed as FHD+ LCDs with refresh rates reaching 144Hz, though the Redmi listing specifies adaptive refresh. A higher maximum refresh rate does not establish better image quality, and these specifications alone do not settle brightness, color or viewing experience.

Performance: chip names are not a head-to-head test
The Redmi uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3; the Nord is listed with MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Apex. The chip names identify different hardware, but the available specifications do not provide a controlled performance comparison. For a confident choice, look for comparable real-world testing of the exact India variants rather than treating branding or model numbers as proof of which feels faster.

Battery capacity and charging speed
Both phones are listed with 7,000mAh batteries, so their stated capacities match. That does not mean they will last the same amount of time: endurance depends on usage and testing conditions, and capacity figures are not battery-life guarantees. The listed charging rates favor the Nord at 45W versus 33W wired charging for the Redmi. Xiaomi also specifies 18W reverse charging for the Redmi.
Camera specifications and software support
Cameras
Each phone has a listed 8MP front camera. On the rear, Xiaomi specifies a 50MP AI dual-camera system with an auxiliary lens; 91mobiles lists a 50MP main camera and 2MP depth camera for the Nord. Megapixel counts and lens labels do not establish photo quality, and the cited material does not show a controlled camera comparison. Use sample photos taken in comparable conditions if camera output is a deciding factor.

There is no dependable like-for-like price difference to quote from the cited listings. When retrieved, Gadgets Now showed ₹21,499 for the Redmi 15 and ₹22,999 for an 8GB/128GB Nord CE 6 Lite 5G. Separately, 91mobiles listed the Nord at ₹28,999 for 6GB/128GB, ₹30,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹34,999 for 8GB/256GB. These figures come from different listings and do not establish synchronized transaction prices; prices, stock and offers can change.

Before choosing, check the current India listings and compare the same RAM and storage where available. In particular, the Redmi configurations listed by Xiaomi are 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB, so the Nord’s 8GB/128GB variant is not a like-for-like match. Check whether the configuration you want is actually in stock.
