The Xiaomi 17T and OPPO Find X9s are close in screen size, but they target different priorities: Xiaomi offers a 5× optical periscope telephoto camera, while OPPO lists a larger battery, faster wired charging and a higher-tier stated chipset. The better buy depends on your local price for the same storage configuration, camera needs and access to reliable warranty service.

What is the price difference?
There is no single worldwide price gap: the available figures refer to different markets and sources, and prices change by seller and date. Compare the same storage size and check the local seller’s current price rather than subtracting figures from separate markets.

- India launch prices: OPPO India announced the Find X9s at ₹79,999 for 12GB/256GB and ₹89,999 for 12GB/512GB. Sales were set to begin on 26 May 2026 through OPPO’s e-store, Flipkart, Amazon and mainline retail. These are launch prices, not a current quote. See the 21 May 2026 launch announcement.
- 91mobiles displayed prices: Its comparison page showed ₹64,999 for the Xiaomi 17T and ₹79,999 for the Find X9s. These are dynamic, source-specific listings, not guaranteed prices or a market-wide price comparison. Check the comparison page for current listings.
- UK Xiaomi pricing: TechRadar’s 2 June 2026 review reported the Xiaomi 17T from £649 and £699 for the 512GB version. Those are UK prices reported in that review, not current quotes for every seller. Its availability comments were also dated and should be rechecked. See the TechRadar review.
Which phone has the better camera?
Choose Xiaomi for longer optical reach
Xiaomi’s defining camera specification is its 5× optical periscope telephoto camera. That reach may suit distant subjects when you want to frame them more tightly without relying only on digital cropping.

Consider OPPO for its listed camera array
OPPO India lists three 50MP rear cameras: ultrawide, main and telephoto. Its specifications also state up to 3× optical zoom for video. These numbers describe hardware, not a head-to-head result: megapixel counts and zoom labels alone do not establish which phone takes better photos or video. The available sources do not provide a comparable independent camera test of both phones.
Which has the better battery and charging?
OPPO lists a 7,025mAh typical-capacity battery and 80W SUPERVOOC charging; TechRadar reports 6,500mAh and 67W charging for Xiaomi. On stated capacity and rated wired charging, OPPO has the advantage. These specifications do not establish comparative real-world battery life or charging time; the cited sources do not provide a controlled, direct test of both phones.

Are their screens and performance different?
Both phones have a 6.59-inch-class AMOLED display with a maximum 120Hz refresh rate. Their published resolutions—2756 × 1268 for Xiaomi and 2760 × 1256 for OPPO—are close, so those small differences alone are not a sound reason to choose one.

The Find X9s uses the Dimensity 9500s, while the Xiaomi 17T uses the Dimensity 8500 Ultra. The model positioning favors OPPO on paper, but a chipset name is not a guarantee of better sustained performance in every task. 91mobiles reports Geekbench multi-core scores of 7,337 for OPPO and 6,860 for Xiaomi on its comparison page; treat these as that page’s results, not independently replicated or universal outcomes.

What else should you check before buying?
- Storage and price: Match 256GB with 256GB or 512GB with 512GB when comparing offers; confirm the RAM and storage configuration actually sold in your market.
- Fit and handling: The listed weights are close. OPPO is slightly narrower on the published dimensions, while exact measurements can vary by regional model or source.
- Software: TechRadar reports Android 16 with HyperOS 3 on its Xiaomi 17T review unit. Check the software version and update-support terms for the exact regional model; the cited material does not establish a directly comparable update commitment for both phones.
- Ownership support: Before ordering, verify local stock, warranty coverage, authorized service access and the seller’s return terms. Availability and after-sales support can matter more than a small specification advantage.
Which one should you buy?
Buy the Xiaomi 17T if
- You want the stated 5× optical periscope telephoto reach.
- You find it meaningfully cheaper than the Find X9s locally at the same storage size.
- You are satisfied with its regional software, warranty and service options.
Buy the OPPO Find X9s if
- You prioritize its larger stated battery and faster rated wired charging.
- You prefer its stated Dimensity 9500s chipset.
- Its price premium is acceptable and local stock and support are suitable.
Neither specification sheet settles real-world camera quality, endurance or sustained performance. Let current like-for-like pricing and your priorities decide between the two.
