The Xiaomi 17T is the higher-priced option in the cited India price snapshot, while the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ 5G is listed with a larger, faster-refresh display and faster charging. The comparison pages also list both phones with 12 GB RAM and 6,500 mAh batteries. The displayed prices differ by ₹22,000, but they come from different retailers, so that figure is not a like-for-like quote.
At a glance: Xiaomi 17T vs Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ 5G
The figures below are specifications reported by Gadgets 360, not results from independent hands-on testing. Storage configurations and camera listings are also attributed to that comparison publisher. Gadgets 360’s comparison and 91mobiles’ comparison page may be useful for checking their listings.

Which phone has the better display?
The Motorola is listed with the larger screen and higher refresh rate: 6.80 inches at 144 Hz, compared with the Xiaomi’s 6.59-inch, 120 Hz display. A higher refresh rate can make supported motion look smoother, while the larger panel gives more screen area. These figures alone do not establish display brightness, color accuracy, outdoor readability, or overall quality.
How do performance, RAM, and storage compare?
The comparison listings name a Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor for the Xiaomi and a Dimensity 8500 Extreme for the Motorola, with 12 GB RAM listed for each. The supplied specifications do not establish which phone is faster in real-world use, so the processor names should not be treated as a measured performance ranking.

Storage may be the more concrete differentiator: Gadgets 360 lists the Xiaomi in 256 GB and 512 GB configurations, while the Motorola is listed in 256 GB. Confirm the exact configuration offered by a seller before comparing prices; the listed capacity can affect the price and the amount of space available for apps, photos, and video.
What do the camera specifications tell you?
Gadgets 360 lists three rear cameras on each phone, but with different resolutions: 50 MP + 50 MP + 12 MP for Xiaomi and three 50 MP cameras for Motorola. The listed front cameras are 32 MP for Xiaomi and 50 MP for Motorola. Megapixel counts describe resolution, not the complete imaging system, and cannot by themselves establish which phone takes better photos or video.

Battery and charging differences
Both phones are listed with 6,500 mAh batteries. The reported charging specifications favor the Motorola on paper: 90 W wired charging and 15 W wireless charging, against 67 W wired charging and no wireless charging listed for the Xiaomi. Charging wattage alone does not establish actual charging time; the available comparison specifications do not provide a controlled charging test.
What is the price difference in India?
On the accessed 91mobiles comparison page, Xiaomi 17T was displayed at ₹69,999 at Amazon, while Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ 5G was displayed at ₹47,999 at Flipkart. Subtracting those displayed amounts gives a ₹22,000 difference, with Xiaomi higher. This is a snapshot from different retailers, not a like-for-like retailer comparison or a guaranteed current price. Offers, stock, sellers, and storage configurations can change. Check current India listings and compare equivalent configurations before buying. See the 91mobiles comparison page.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the Xiaomi 17T if
- You want the listed 512 GB storage option.
- You prefer the lower listed refresh rate and smaller screen among these two specifications.
- The Xiaomi’s current price and available configuration suit your budget better after checking live listings.
Choose the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ 5G if
- You prioritize the larger, higher-refresh-rate display on the published specifications.
- You want wireless charging or the higher listed wired charging rate.
- The available 256 GB configuration and current seller price meet your needs.
These are decisions based on listed features, not a universal performance or camera verdict. The comparison values above should not be confused with specifications for the separate Motorola model called moto edge 70 pro. Motorola’s support page is for that non-Plus model, so it does not verify Edge 70 Pro+ specifications; it notes generally that “Certain specifications may vary by market”.
