The Motorola Edge 60 Pro has the stronger on-paper case for battery capacity, charging options, screen size, telephoto reach, and published software support. The Xiaomi 14 Civi stands out for its two front cameras and a different telephoto setup. A 91mobiles comparison page displayed the Motorola at ₹30,190 and the Xiaomi at ₹49,990 when accessed—a ₹19,800 gap—but those were dynamic Amazon labels, not guaranteed checkout prices. Check the live price for the same memory configuration before deciding.

How much cheaper is the Motorola Edge 60 Pro?

At the time the 91mobiles comparison page was accessed, its Amazon price labels showed ₹30,190 for the Motorola Edge 60 Pro and ₹49,990 for the Xiaomi 14 Civi. That is a displayed difference of ₹19,800 in Motorola’s favor. These are volatile listing labels, not verified official prices or guaranteed checkout totals; the source does not establish that both amounts refer to equivalent seller conditions or offers.

Before comparing, check that both listings match on RAM and storage, seller, stock, warranty, and any applied offer. The comparison table uses 256GB storage for both phones, while Gadgets 360 lists multiple storage options for each. Motorola’s India support page specifies 256GB built-in storage and 8GB/12GB RAM. A different configuration can make the apparent price gap misleading.

Which phone has the better display and performance?

Display size and panel

The Edge 60 Pro has the larger listed display at 6.7 inches, compared with 6.55 inches on the 14 Civi; both are listed at 120Hz. Motorola identifies its panel as pOLED and specifies 1.5K resolution (2712 × 1220). Xiaomi’s comparison listing describes its screen as AMOLED. These are specification labels, not independent assessments of brightness, color accuracy, or outdoor visibility. Choose based on size and preference rather than assuming one panel is better from its name.

Processor

The 14 Civi is listed with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, while the Edge 60 Pro uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Extreme Edition. Motorola confirms its chipset and describes an octa-core CPU on its official specifications page. Chip names alone do not settle which phone delivers better sustained speed, gaming frame rates, heat management, or efficiency; the available figures do not establish a reproducible, like-for-like test.

What are the camera trade-offs?

The rear-camera configurations differ most in ultrawide resolution and telephoto reach. The Motorola listing gives its telephoto camera up to 3x optical zoom, versus up to 2x for the Xiaomi. The 14 Civi instead has two listed front cameras, both 32MP; the Edge 60 Pro lists one 50MP front camera. Motorola identifies its main rear camera as a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C with optical image stabilization.

  • Consider the Xiaomi’s setup if having two front-camera modules is useful for your selfie or front-camera use.
  • Consider the Motorola’s setup if the higher listed ultrawide resolution or longer optical telephoto reach better matches the framing you use.

Megapixel counts and zoom specifications do not establish which phone produces better photos. They cannot settle skin tones, low-light results, shutter response, or video quality. If those outcomes are decisive, compare sample images and independent tests that explain their method.

Battery, charging, and protection

Motorola lists a 6000mAh battery, 90W TurboPower wired charging, and 15W wireless charging. The comparison listing gives the Xiaomi a 4700mAh battery and 67W wired charging, with no wireless charging listed. These specifications give the Edge 60 Pro more battery capacity and more charging options on paper, but they do not prove longer real-world battery life or a particular charging time.

Motorola also lists IP68 and IP69 dust-and-water protection and MIL-STD-810H certification. These are manufacturer specifications and certification claims tied to defined test conditions, not promises that the phone is damage-proof in everyday use. The available sources do not establish an equivalent protection rating for the 14 Civi.

Software support: what is established?

Motorola’s support page lists Android 16 and states “(3 OS + 4 Years SMR)” for OS upgrades and security patches. Treat that as the manufacturer’s published policy; the available information does not establish a start date or rollout status from which to calculate how much support remains. The comparison listing identifies the Xiaomi 14 Civi as running Android 14, but the model-specific sources here do not establish its continuing support duration. An official Xiaomi page for the Xiaomi 14 is not evidence of the 14 Civi’s policy.

Which one should you buy?

  • Choose the Motorola Edge 60 Pro if you prioritize the larger listed battery, wireless charging, the bigger screen, 3x telephoto reach, manufacturer-listed protection claims, or Motorola’s published update commitment—provided its live price and exact variant suit you.
  • Consider the Xiaomi 14 Civi if dual front-camera hardware and its 2x telephoto configuration fit your use, or if the current price for the exact version makes it the better value.
  • Do not decide on camera quality or endurance from these specifications alone. Seek comparable photo samples or independently measured battery tests if either result is central to your purchase.
