Verdict: The XGIMI TITAN Noir Pro looks compelling on paper for a large-screen home theater or gaming setup, with a manufacturer-rated 6,000 ISO lumens, 4K resolution, flexible zoom and lens shift, and high-refresh gaming modes. But those are specifications, not proof of real-world picture quality. At a premium price, it is best treated as a shortlist candidate—not a settled buy—until independent testing confirms its brightness, contrast, noise, and image performance in your intended room.
What the TITAN Noir Pro offers
XGIMI’s French product page specifies a DLP projector built around a 0.47-inch DMD and RGB triple-laser light source. It lists a standard resolution of 3840 × 2160 and brightness of 6,000 ISO lumens. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently verified measurements. XGIMI TITAN Noir Pro product page
For contrast, XGIMI lists up to 8,000:1 native contrast and up to 100,000:1 dynamic contrast when Dynamic Black Level Enhancement (DBLE) is enabled. The dynamic figure is a separate, processing-dependent claim; it should not be read as the projector’s native contrast or as an independently measured result.

The stated light output and contrast figures make the Pro sound suited to a wide range of home-cinema conditions, but specifications alone cannot establish how bright or convincing the image will look on your screen. Screen size and material, ambient light, picture settings, and placement all matter. Independent testing of this exact model is needed to judge its actual image quality.

Will it fit your room and screen?
XGIMI lists a 0.98–2.0:1 throw ratio, optical zoom, lens shift, and a projected image range of 40 to 300 inches. These features give you more placement options than a fixed-throw projector, but they do not guarantee that every screen size will work from every location.
Use the throw ratio to check whether your planned lens-to-screen distance can produce your screen’s image width. As a first approximation, multiply the desired image width by the throw ratio: the listed range indicates a lens distance from roughly 0.98 to 2.0 times the image width. Confirm the final geometry with XGIMI’s placement guidance before buying, and account for the projector’s physical dimensions, mount position, lens shift limits, and any obstructions. The 40–300-inch range is the manufacturer’s stated image-size range, not a promise of equal brightness or image quality at every size.

- Use the actual screen’s image width and aspect ratio in your throw calculation.
- Check that lens shift can align the image with your screen without relying on digital keystone correction.
- Plan for a suitable screen, mounting hardware, cable runs, and installation costs as part of the overall setup.
Gaming latency and connections
XGIMI lists three mode-specific latency figures. Its 1 ms claim applies at 1080p/240 Hz with VRR enabled and AK disabled; the page also lists 2.2 ms at 1080p/120 Hz and 3 ms at 4K/60 Hz. These are manufacturer figures, and the 1 ms result depends on the stated settings. They do not establish measured performance across all sources, resolutions, or operating modes.

Before choosing the projector for competitive play, check that your console or PC can output the resolution and refresh rate you intend to use, and confirm which input and settings support that mode. The published figures do not substitute for an independent test of input lag or verification of compatibility with a particular gaming device.

- Lag‑Free Gaming – 1ms, 240Hz, VRR, ALLM, AMD FreeSync: Ultra‑responsive gameplay on a massive 300‑inch screen. Gigabit LAN ensures stable low‑latency connection. The ultimate gaming projector for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
XGIMI lists three HDMI ports, with HDMI 1 supporting eARC, plus USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, Gigabit LAN, optical and audio outputs. It also lists Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and IMAX Enhanced support. Match those formats and ports against your source devices, sound system, and preferred HDR content; a format appearing in the specification does not establish how well it is rendered.
Built-in sound and installation costs
The listed built-in audio system consists of two 12 W Harman/Kardon speakers. That may be useful for a simpler setup, but the specification does not tell you how the speakers sound in your room. If you plan to use a receiver or soundbar, account for the eARC-enabled HDMI 1 connection or the listed optical and audio outputs, and confirm your equipment’s connection requirements.

The projector’s price is only one part of a finished installation. Depending on your room, you may also need a screen, a compatible ceiling or shelf mount, longer cables, and professional installation. Choose screen size and material based on viewing distance and room lighting rather than assuming that the projector’s maximum image size is the right one for your space.

Price and buying context
When checked on October 4, 2026, XGIMI France listed the TITAN Noir Pro at €4,499. XGIMI’s US launch announcement, dated May 23, 2026, reported a $4,999 launch price; that is launch-price evidence, not a confirmed current checkout price. At this price level, a meaningful decision should include the cost of the complete setup and evidence from independent tests of the exact Noir Pro model. A review of the separate XGIMI Titan is not evidence about the TITAN Noir Pro: they are distinct projectors. What Hi-Fi review of the XGIMI Titan
Quick Recap
Who should consider it?
- Consider it if you want a premium 4K projector, need the placement flexibility of optical zoom and lens shift, and its published throw range works for your room.
- Investigate further if gaming is a priority: the listed latency values vary by resolution and refresh mode, and the fastest claim has specific settings attached.
- Wait for independent testing if your decision depends on actual contrast, brightness, noise, input lag, or HDR performance. The available product specifications do not answer those questions.
- Compare alternatives if the total installed cost, rather than headline specifications, determines whether the setup makes sense.
