The original XGIMI MoGo 2 Pro (model XK04T) is a compact 1080p DLP projector with Android TV 11.0, automatic setup features, and 400 ISO lumens of manufacturer-rated brightness. It is best considered for a dim room and a 60–120-inch picture, XGIMI’s recommended viewing range. It is portable at 1.1 kg, but the specifications and brochure do not identify an internal battery; for off-grid use, XGIMI says a compatible USB-C PD power bank rated at 65 W or higher is supported.
This review covers the original XK04T, not the separately named “MoGo 2 Pro (New).” Verify the model number and regional specifications on the actual listing before comparing or ordering.
What the original MoGo 2 Pro offers
The MoGo 2 Pro is a single-chip DLP projector using a 0.23-inch DMD, with a native resolution of 1920 × 1080 and HDR10 support. XGIMI specifies a 1.2:1 throw ratio and an image range of 40–200 inches, but recommends 60–120 inches for best viewing. That recommendation is the more useful guide for a buyer planning ordinary home use.

1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsIts 400 ISO-lumen brightness figure is a manufacturer specification, not an independent measurement. XGIMI says it measures white-light output under ISO 21118 in ideal laboratory conditions and notes that output varies with use conditions. In practical terms, plan to use it in a darkened or dim room; a bright room or very large image makes the brightness limitation more consequential.

Picture, placement, and automatic setup
Screen size and room light
XGIMI recommends a 60–120-inch image, within the broader listed 40–200-inch range. Treat the larger range as the stated capability, not a promise that every size will look equally bright or suitable in every room. Ambient light and image size affect the viewing result, and the manufacturer’s brightness rating comes from ideal lab conditions.
Throw ratio and positioning
The listed 1.2:1 throw ratio helps estimate the relationship between projector-to-screen distance and image width, but it is not a complete placement plan: actual setup depends on image dimensions and room geometry. Consult the current manual or a verified calculator for a precise distance before fixing a mount or choosing a permanent location.
Focus and keystone correction
XGIMI lists ISA 2.0 autofocus and automatic keystone correction, as well as intelligent screen alignment, obstacle avoidance, and eye protection. The company says the system uses 3D ToF and CMOS solutions. These features are intended to reduce manual setup, but the available specifications do not establish real-world correction speed, accuracy, or how much image quality may be affected by keystone correction.

- Multi-angle Rotation: 120° Adjustable Angle. Easily switch your projected image from the wall to the ceiling.
- Seamless Streaming with Google TV: Enjoy smooth access to Netflix and over 5,000 apps via Google TV and the Google Play Store, bringing next-level entertainment to your home.
- Hollywood-Standard Visuals: With 430 ISO lumens, integrated D65 color temperature standard adopted by Hollywood, and a 90% DCI-P3 color gamut, all colors are restored in brilliant, lifelike detail.
- Seamless Setup, Smart Projecting in a Snap: Our industry-leading ISA technology ensures you never miss a moment of your favorite movies, TV shows, or games.
- 8W Speakers with Dolby Audio: MoGo 2 Pro (New) offers a deeply immersive and cinematic audio experience thanks to its built-in dual 8W speakers with Dolby Audio.
Smart features and connections
The original model is specified with Android TV 11.0 and Chromecast built in. XGIMI also lists 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. App availability can differ by region and may change over time, so check the seller’s regional version and the services you use rather than assuming a particular app is supported.
For devices or playback options outside the built-in platform, the projector has HDMI 2.0, USB-A, and USB-C inputs, plus a 3.5 mm AUX output. Wireless specifications are dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0. The listed audio system comprises two 8 W speakers and support for Dolby Audio, Dolby Digital, and Dolby Digital Plus.
Portability and power: no internal battery is specified
The unit measures 161 × 119 × 108 mm and weighs 1.1 kg, making it easier to move between rooms or pack than a typical fixed projector. However, the cited product specifications do not list an internal battery. XGIMI’s MoGo 2 Series brochure says Type-C PD power banks rated at 65 W or higher are supported. That is an external-power option, not evidence of a built-in battery or a guaranteed runtime; compatibility with every power bank is not established.

What the published specifications do—and do not—tell you
XGIMI lists a theoretical light-source life of 25,000 hours. The company cautions that actual life depends on environment, usage, and mode, so the figure should not be treated as a guaranteed service life. The same distinction applies to the brightness rating: it is a stated lab figure, not a verified account of performance in a particular room.
No independent hands-on results are established here for brightness, color, fan noise, input lag, 3D playback, autofocus performance, streaming-app availability, or runtime on an external power bank. Those questions require model-specific testing or confirmation from the seller; marketing claims about fast or accurate setup should not be mistaken for independent findings.

Check the model before you buy
This review concerns the original MoGo 2 Pro, model XK04T. Listings may also use the separate name “MoGo 2 Pro (New),” and the available evidence does not establish that model’s full specification differences. Do not assume that the original’s 400 ISO-lumen rating or Android TV 11.0 applies to a “New” listing. Confirm the model number, operating system, and regional specifications on the exact product listing.
Who should consider the MoGo 2 Pro?
- A good fit: someone seeking a compact 1080p projector for a dim room, with built-in Android TV, Chromecast, and automatic setup features.
- Consider carefully: buyers planning a large image, watching with substantial ambient light, or relying on specific streaming apps; check the room conditions and regional app support first.
- Not a self-powered option as specified: the product specifications do not list an internal battery. For portable use away from mains power, account for a suitable external USB-C PD power bank and its compatibility.
Verdict
The original XGIMI MoGo 2 Pro combines native 1080p resolution, Android TV 11.0, Chromecast, and a light, compact body. Its most important buying caveat is the 400 ISO-lumen manufacturer rating: it points toward dim-room viewing rather than a bright living room, especially at larger image sizes. Treat automatic alignment as a convenience rather than a substitute for checking placement, and confirm you are buying XK04T if you want the specifications reviewed here.
