Xbox announced nine games coming to Game Pass between October 8 and October 16, 2026. The lineup spans adventure, action, co-op and city-building games, but availability differs by subscription plan and platform. Seven are explicitly labeled day-one releases in Xbox’s announcement.
Xbox’s October 7, 2026 announcement lists nine upcoming Game Pass additions, with release dates clustered in the first half of the month. The dates and plan labels below reflect what Xbox listed in its Xbox Wire announcement; they are not a claim that these are the only Game Pass additions for October.

October 8: time loops, a road trip and a cyberpunk roguelike
- Echo Weaver is a knowledge-based metroidvania built around time loops and time-altering anomalies.
- Forever Ago is a single-player road-trip adventure following Alfred as he travels north after a personal tragedy.
- Neon Abyss 2 is a roguelike action platformer set in a pixel-art cyberpunk world.
October 13: warfare, dungeon survival and a soulslike
- Battlefield 6 focuses on all-out warfare, close-quarters combat and tactical destruction. Xbox notes that Game Pass Ultimate subscribers have EA Play included and can receive a 10% discount on eligible EA digital purchases; that benefit is specific to Ultimate in the announcement.
- Deep Dish Dungeon combines survival exploration, dungeon puzzles and crafting, with solo or online co-op play.
- Valor Mortis is a first-person action soulslike about a former soldier in Napoleon’s army, from the creators of Ghostrunner.
October 15–16: photography, co-op combat and a space-whale city
- Bluey’s Happy Snaps is a photo-powered adventure in Bluey’s world, playable solo or by two players.
- Chained Beasts is a co-op gladiator roguelike for one to four players.
- Beyond These Stars is a PC city-builder about developing a settlement on the back of a space whale and managing supply chains.

Which Game Pass plans include these games?
Neon Abyss 2 is the only one of the nine for which Xbox lists Game Pass Premium alongside Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The other eight are listed for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The announcement does not list Premium for those titles, so do not assume that every announced game is included with every Game Pass plan.
Xbox explicitly labels seven games as available on day one with Game Pass. It does not apply that label to Neon Abyss 2 or Battlefield 6 in this post. That distinction describes the announcement’s wording; it should not be read as a claim about either game’s availability outside the listed service plans.

What else did Xbox say was available?
The same October 7 post separately marks Shape of Dreams, Minecraft Dungeons II and Gears of War: E-Day as “Available Now.” Those are not part of the nine-game “Coming Soon” list above. Xbox also published a broader weekly release roundup on October 2, Next Week on Xbox: New Games for October 5 to 9; that roundup covers Xbox platform releases and Game Pass, rather than defining this nine-title announcement.
