WWE 2K Battlegrounds does not have a verified official cheat-code list in the available publisher material. Its documented ways to unlock content are Campaign goals and challenges, objectives, and Battleground Challenge progression. Use the tips below to find those routes, choose a mode, and understand what the historical launch details do—and do not—confirm.
Are there WWE 2K Battlegrounds cheat codes?
The official sources cited here describe progression and unlockables, but do not provide verified button combinations, cheat codes, or a complete list of character- or arena-specific requirements. How to unlock Superstars, power-ups, and items
Progress through Campaign
Campaign is the single-player story mode, following Stone Cold Steve Austin and Paul Heyman. Complete its story goals and challenges: 2K says Campaign goals unlock various WWE Superstars, power-ups, and items. Create a custom Superstar and take them through the mode’s challenges. 2K describes this route as a way to earn skill points, develop abilities, and unlock cosmetic items. The official overview does not identify a fastest challenge order or a farming method, so follow the available challenges and their stated rewards rather than relying on an unverified shortcut. Use objectives and understand currency
WWE’s launch announcement says objectives can unlock Superstars, in-game currency, and cosmetics without an additional purchase. It also says currency can be earned or bought. Those are general descriptions, not confirmation of the current price or exact unlock route for any particular item.
Choose a Superstar class and power-up
The five documented class styles are Powerhouse, Technician, High-Flyer, Brawler, and All-Rounder. WWE says their moves, strengths, and weaknesses differ, but does not publish a detailed matchup chart in the cited material. Before a match, inspect your chosen Superstar’s class and move set in the game rather than assuming a class has a universal advantage.

Power-ups add another arcade-style option. WWE names Flaming Fist, Ice Breath, and Earthquake as examples that can change a match’s direction. The cited official overview does not specify their inputs, cooldowns, or ideal timing; consult the in-game prompts for controls rather than using unverified button instructions.

Launch editions and platform details
WWE’s 2020 launch announcement listed PlayStation 4, the Xbox One family, Windows PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia. It said cross-platform play was available at launch among Xbox One, Steam PC, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia. This historical information does not confirm current server operation, matchmaking, store availability, or cross-play status.

The same announcement reported more than 70 WWE Superstars, Hall of Famers, and Legends at launch, and said more than 60 additional Superstars were then scheduled for future free downloadable updates. Those were figures and plans announced in 2020—not a verified current roster count or confirmation that every planned update was delivered. WWE also announced eight unique Battleground environments at launch.
