Possibly, says Nolan North—but the “one of the biggest games ever” line is his opinion about a hypothetical sequel, not a measured forecast. North, the voice of Nathan Drake, said he would return if Sony chose to make another Uncharted. He also said he had not heard anything about a new game, and reports of one remain unconfirmed.
Why does Nolan North think a new Uncharted could be so big?
At a Q&A at Gamergy in Puerto Rico in late August, North was asked whether he would return as Nathan Drake. “110 percent, absolutely,” he replied, adding: “I think it would be one of the biggest games ever if they decided to do it. It just depends if Sony wants to make money.” GamesRadar+ and Push Square reported the remarks.
That is North’s prediction, not an objective ranking or a sales figure. Neither report gives a statistic to support the “biggest” comparison, so the phrase should be read as his enthusiasm for the prospect rather than evidence about how a future game would perform.

Would Nolan North return as Nathan Drake?
Yes. North said he would return to the role and added, “I try to stay in shape just in case.” His willingness is clear, but it does not confirm that a sequel is being made or that Drake would appear in it.

Has a new Uncharted game been confirmed?
No. GamesRadar reported that North had not heard anything about a new game. It described the development talk as rumor, including the claim that a possible project could feature Drake “in some capacity” and might be Naughty Dog’s next game. ComicBook.com likewise noted that the rumors do not establish what role Drake might have. ComicBook.com published its report on October 6, 2026.
These reports do not confirm a sequel, production, casting, a release schedule, or a starring role for Drake. The quoted remarks are reproduced as reported by GamesRadar and Push Square; the event video linked in coverage was not independently verified here.
