In the U.S., WNBA League Pass is mainly for live out-of-market games—not every game. Nationally televised games and your local team’s locally televised games are blacked out live on League Pass. To find where a particular matchup is available, check the WNBA schedule for its broadcaster and use the ZIP-code lookup on the League Pass packages page to check local restrictions. The result depends on your current location and the game’s rights.
How to find where a WNBA game is streaming or televised
- Open the WNBA’s current schedule. Find the specific game and check its listed broadcaster or streaming distributor. Carriers vary by matchup, season, and country; a network’s status as a WNBA partner does not mean it carries every game.
- Check your League Pass blackout status. Use the ZIP-code lookup on the WNBA League Pass packages page. In the U.S., the WNBA uses your current location, with ZIP code used to identify your local-team footprint.
- Choose the live option shown for that game. If it is out of market and not nationally televised, League Pass may show it live. If it is blacked out, watch through the local or national distributor listed for the matchup.
- Check replay timing if you missed the live broadcast. League Pass replay availability differs by blackout type; see the details below.
What League Pass does—and does not—show live
The WNBA describes League Pass as offering live out-of-market games, full-length replays, and classic games. It is not a way to bypass broadcast-rights restrictions: the WNBA excludes certain local and national games from live viewing in the U.S. and Canada. Check the WNBA’s League Pass FAQ and the schedule before subscribing.
For U.S. viewers, the WNBA’s blackout guidance names ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, Disney+, CBS, Paramount+, NBC, Peacock, USA Network, and Amazon Prime Video as national broadcasters or services whose games are unavailable live on League Pass. The game schedule is the practical guide to which distributor carries a specific matchup.

For viewers in Canada, the WNBA lists TSN, SN, CTV, and CTV2 as national providers whose games are not available live on League Pass. Check the current schedule for the Canadian broadcast listing. These U.S. and Canadian rules should not be assumed to apply in other countries.
National broadcasters for the 2026 season
In its April 22, 2026 schedule announcement, the WNBA listed Disney (ABC/ESPN), Amazon Prime Video, CBS Sports/Paramount+, Scripps/ION, NBCUniversal (NBC, Peacock, and NBCSN), USA Sports (USA Network), and NBA TV among its distribution partners. It said the 2026 regular season had 216 nationally distributed games out of 330 games across 15 teams. Those season-wide figures describe the schedule, not what is available in a particular viewer’s market or on a particular service.

The WNBA said Peacock would stream all WNBA Finals games, with each game also telecast on NBC or USA Network. Confirm the listed broadcaster for the game you want in the current WNBA schedule; do not infer that every partner carries every matchup. The figures and distribution details are from the WNBA’s April 22, 2026 announcement.

The WNBA lists viewing support for desktop and devices including Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, and Android TV. A League Pass subscription purchased through Amazon Prime is watchable only on Amazon Prime platforms, according to the WNBA FAQ. A supported device does not change which games are blacked out.
