The Withings ScanWatch Light is a good fit if you want an analog-style 37 mm watch with core activity, sleep and heart-rate tracking, plus a manufacturer-rated battery life of up to 35 days. Its main trade-off is feature depth: it does not include ECG or blood oxygen measurement. If either is essential, compare the ScanWatch 2 or another watch that explicitly offers it.
What the ScanWatch Light offers
The ScanWatch Light pairs an analog-style watch face with a small OLED sub-display for digital information. Withings lists a 37 mm stainless-steel case and crown, Gorilla Glass, a 9.85 mm case thickness and an FKM band. The band is interchangeable and uses an 18 mm fit. It is listed as 5 ATM (50 m) water resistant and described by Withings as swimproof; that specification should not be read as a claim that it is suitable for diving.
Withings lists compatibility with iOS and Android, incoming call display, and app and message notifications. Its core health and activity features include:

- Sleep tracking and a smart wake-up feature
- Continuous heart-rate tracking, with high- and low-heart-rate notifications
- Breathing quality index and cycle tracking
These are manufacturer-listed features, not independent evidence of measurement accuracy or medical performance. Withings’ product information describes heart-rate tracking as a way to learn a baseline and notice shifts; alerts should not be treated as a diagnosis.

What it does not measure
In Withings’ comparison, the ScanWatch Light does not have ECG or blood oxygen measurement. The comparison also marks overnight HRV, REM sleep, temperature tracking and elevation as unavailable on the Light. ScanWatch 2 is the higher-tier option in that comparison with ECG and blood oxygen capabilities, alongside additional listed measurements and metrics.
That distinction is more useful than treating both watches as interchangeable “health watches.” Choose the Light if its core activity, sleep and heart-rate functions are enough. Compare ScanWatch 2 if ECG, blood oxygen or the additional tracking metrics are priorities. This is a recommendation based on the published feature lists, not a claim that one model is more accurate.

Battery life and charging
Withings advertises up to 35 days of battery life for the ScanWatch Light and says fast charging takes about two hours. “Up to” is a maximum claim, not a promise that every owner will get 35 days: the company’s battery-life guidance notes that usage and settings affect battery life. No independent real-world battery result for the Light is established here.

Price and who should buy it
Withings’ US product page listed the ScanWatch Light at US$249.95 when checked in 2026. Treat that as a snapshot rather than a guaranteed current price; check the live listing before buying. At that price, the key question is whether you value the analog-style presentation and long advertised battery life more than the sensors and tracking features the Light leaves out.
- Consider the Light if you want a conventional-looking 37 mm watch with activity, sleep and heart-rate features, and you are comfortable without ECG and blood oxygen measurements.
- Compare ScanWatch 2 or another model if ECG, blood oxygen or the Light’s other omitted tracking metrics matter to you.
What this review can—and cannot—establish
The available evidence for this model supports its published specifications and advertised features, not hands-on conclusions about comfort, accuracy, sleep staging, step counting or everyday battery performance. A Tom’s Guide review dated July 11, 2026, covers the ScanWatch 2, not the Light, so it cannot establish how the Light performs in those areas. See the Withings ScanWatch Light product page for the manufacturer’s feature details.
