Top Esports (TES) said on October 6, 2026, that top laner ZUIAN had failed two visa interviews and could not initially travel with the team to the League of Legends World Championship venue. TES named 369 to the starting lineup while it sought a third interview opportunity. The club had not announced a final visa decision or confirmed that ZUIAN would miss the entire tournament.
What happened with ZUIAN’s Worlds 2026 visa?
In a statement reproduced by Sina, TES said ZUIAN did not pass two in-person visa interviews for travel abroad to attend S16, the 2026 World Championship. The club said he was “temporarily unable to travel with the team to the tournament venue at the earliest opportunity.”
That wording describes the immediate travel situation; it does not establish that ZUIAN was permanently barred from the tournament. TES said it and ZUIAN were trying to secure a third interview opportunity and would pursue the possibility of his participation.
Who will start for TES?
TES announced that 369 would join the starting lineup while ZUIAN’s travel situation remained unresolved. The club also said it would adjust training plans and tactical preparations in response. Independent reports from Dot Esports and Sheep Esports described the lineup change and the effort to obtain another interview.

What did TES say?
The club’s Chinese-language statement said that after two unsuccessful in-person interviews, ZUIAN was temporarily unable to travel with the team at the first opportunity; 369 would join the starting lineup; and TES and ZUIAN were working to secure a third interview. This is an English rendering of the club’s statement, not an official English-language quotation. TES added that it would adjust training and tactical preparation while pursuing the possibility of ZUIAN taking part in S16.
Has TES qualified for Worlds 2026?
Yes. TES qualified for the 2026 World Championship after beating Invictus Gaming, according to a League of Legends Esports account post reproduced on the same Sina page. The visa issue arose after that qualification.
